Revenged Love Episode 14 Recap
> Revenged Love Recap
On New Year's Eve, Aunt Meili personally brought couplets to Jiang Xiaoshuai. Wu Suowei was also at home celebrating the holiday with his mother. When he saw his mother’s new clothes, he was confused. After some probing, he found out that Chi Cheng had secretly bought them for his mother. Wu Suowei’s mother even encouraged him to go visit Chi Cheng’s parents.
On Chi Cheng’s side, he was also spending the Spring Festival with his family, but he didn’t seem particularly happy—it was just going through the motions with them. Feeling it was too dull, Chi Cheng ended up going to Wu Suowei’s house. Wu Suowei was making dumplings for New Year’s Eve dinner with his mother when Chi Cheng suddenly arrived. Wu Suowei’s mother was very pleased, but Wu Suowei was quite surprised.
After dinner, Chi Cheng and Wu Suowei stood on the balcony setting off firecrackers. Countless fireworks lit up the sky, and in that romantic atmosphere, the two couldn’t help but kiss. Originally, Jiang Xiaoshuai was feeling lonely at home by himself, but Guo Chengyu’s sudden arrival instantly lifted his spirits. Guo Chengyu had specially prepared a lavish dinner for Jiang Xiaoshuai. The two sat together, watching TV, chatting, and enjoying their meal.
At that moment, Guo Chengyu’s phone kept ringing—someone was calling—but Guo Chengyu didn’t answer. Jiang Xiaoshuai understood it might be something urgent and considerately told Guo Chengyu to take care of it. After Guo Chengyu left, Jiang Xiaoshuai still felt a little down. Just when he was feeling disappointed, Guo Chengyu suddenly returned—it turned out to be another surprise from him. The two joyfully spent New Year’s Eve together.
When Jiang Xiaoshuai returned to work, he suddenly received a video—it was from his ex-boyfriend, who was also once his teacher. The two had been deeply in love, but after a rejection, Jiang Xiaoshuai got drunk to drown his sorrows and had his photo taken. Because of that incident, his ex refused to be with him anymore and even spread the inappropriate photos taken during the drinking episode all over the school, which dealt a heavy blow to Jiang Xiaoshuai.
Wu Suowei happened to come looking for Jiang Xiaoshuai and saw the video too. After watching it, Wu Suowei was furious and tried to comfort the emotionally distressed Jiang Xiaoshuai. Just then, his ex-boyfriend suddenly appeared, begging for forgiveness and to be let go. It turned out all those men that night were arranged by the ex, just to deliberately frame Jiang Xiaoshuai. Behind all this, it was Guo Chengyu who helped.
On the night Jiang Xiaoshuai got drunk, Guo Chengyu discovered an old secret on his phone and learned about the grievances he had suffered, so he helped him get revenge. Jiang Xiaoshuai was deeply moved by what Guo Chengyu had done, and their relationship grew stronger. Guo Chengyu took Jiang Xiaoshuai out to dinner, where they unexpectedly ran into Wang Shuo. Wang Shuo was thrilled to see Guo Chengyu, but Guo Chengyu wasn’t very enthusiastic.
Chi Cheng and Wu Suowei were idly browsing their phones at home when Chi Cheng suddenly saw a photo in Guo Chengyu’s Moments—Guo Chengyu and Wang Shuo together—which slightly threw him off emotionally. To avoid letting Wu Suowei notice, Chi Cheng poured himself a glass of water to steady himself. At that moment, Guo Chengyu also sent a message, telling Chi Cheng that Wang Shuo had returned specifically for him.
Meanwhile, Jiang Xiaoshuai sent Wu Suowei the same photo of Guo Chengyu and Wang Shuo. Wu Suowei got a little jealous and deliberately used a sarcastic tone when speaking to Chi Cheng. Chi Cheng promised Wu Suowei that he would no longer be involved with Wang Shuo, nor give him any more chances. Later, Chi Cheng, Guo Chengyu, and Wang Shuo drank together.
Chi Cheng and Guo Chengyu both pretended to be nonchalant, but Wang Shuo had a knowing smirk on his face, as if he saw through everything. After drinking, the three went their separate ways. However, Guo Chengyu couldn't resist turning back, wanting to look for Wang Shuo.
