Under the enchanting lights, the atmosphere was incredibly ambiguous. To keep Wu Suowei from getting nervous, Chi Cheng deliberately covered Wu Suowei’s eyes. Wu Suowei finally mustered the courage to break through his psychological barrier and was very compliant with Chi Cheng. The two tangled together, their words and breaths filling the entire room with the scent of hormones.
By early the next morning, when Wu Suowei slowly woke up, Chi Cheng was already dressed, silently sitting by the bedside, planting a kiss on Wu Suowei. Chi Cheng had already made breakfast. When Wu Suowei walked out a bit later, his walking posture was very odd, but when he saw Chi Cheng, he pretended as if nothing had happened.
However, when he sat down to eat, because of how wild things got the previous night, Wu Suowei couldn’t even sit still. Wu Suowei wanted to call Jiang Xiaoshuai for help, but how could he explain it? Jiang Xiaoshuai wasn’t answering his phone either, so Wu Suowei went to the hospital to find him. The hospital staff told Wu Suowei that Jiang Xiaoshuai hadn’t been coming to work recently, only showing up in the middle of the night.
In order to wait for Jiang Xiaoshuai, Wu Suowei stayed and waited all the way until midnight. Jiang Xiaoshuai had been living at Guo Chengyu’s place. The two were enjoying sweet times together. That night, Jiang Xiaoshuai once again sneaked into the hospital and found the door already open. He thought a thief had broken in. While searching with a weapon, he unexpectedly found Wu Suowei and Chi Cheng on a bed together.
Jiang Xiaoshuai was extremely embarrassed and turned to leave immediately, while Wu Suowei felt ashamed to face him again after being seen like that. Chi Cheng, on the other hand, was very jealous, because Wu Suowei had waited for Jiang Xiaoshuai in the middle of the night. Jiang Xiaoshuai thought it was Guo Chengyu who had known everything and deliberately let him see it, so he went to confront Guo Chengyu.
However, Guo Chengyu’s outfit stirred Jiang Xiaoshuai’s heart, and on top of that, Guo Chengyu was wearing a perfume that Jiang Xiaoshuai liked very much. The scent accidentally sprayed out, and under the influence of the perfume, the two of them got entangled as well. The next morning, Jiang Xiaoshuai could hardly believe what had happened the night before. Chi Cheng went to Wu Suowei’s house to visit Ha'er’s mother and found that Wu Suowei’s mother seemed unwell at home.
He took her to the hospital. Since Wu Suowei and Chi Cheng were now together, Jiang Xiaoshuai left Guo Chengyu’s place and prepared to return to the hospital to officially resume work. By accident, Jiang Xiaoshuai told Wu Suowei about Chi Cheng’s threats. Wu Suowei learned that he had been manipulated but didn’t blame Jiang Xiaoshuai, because he knew Chi Cheng had strong backing, and Wu Suowei had no choice.
Wu Suowei decided to take this opportunity to reveal to Chi Cheng his original motive for getting close to him. Since both of them had made mistakes, it was a good chance to open up. Suddenly, Wu Suowei asked if Jiang Xiaoshuai had ever shared a bed with Guo Chengyu during the time he stayed there. After spending time together, Jiang Xiaoshuai realized that Guo Chengyu actually liked Chi Cheng.
Jiang Xiaoshuai began to analyze the relationship between Chi Cheng and Guo Chengyu to Wu Suowei, even concluding that Chi Cheng might also like Guo Chengyu. But Wu Suowei didn’t believe it. Chi Cheng took Wu Suowei’s mother to the hospital and then thoughtfully brought her home. He even praised Wu Suowei in front of her. Wu Suowei’s mother mentioned Wu Suowei’s love life to Chi Cheng.
Although Wu Suowei, in order not to make his mother sad, claimed that he and his partner didn’t get along, his mother believed the girl had probably looked down on their poor family. After trying the gift, Wu Suowei took the opportunity to finally be honest, only to find that Chi Cheng didn’t follow the script, and he no longer knew how to speak his truth.
