Resumo do episódio 25 de Affinity
> Resumos de Affinity
Although Wu Nongyu had initiated the request to form a pact, she remained visibly nervous as the moment approached. While kissing Xie Xinxu, she accidentally brushed against his wound, causing her to pull back in a sudden panic. Xie Xinxu, however, was unfazed; he gently took her hand and placed it on his waist to reassure her.
Sensing her insecurity and lack of experience, Nongyu apologized and offered to study how to do it properly so she wouldn't cause him any more pain. Xie Xinxu pulled her into a warm embrace, telling her that she was already doing a wonderful job and that her touch had only made him feel a bit ticklish.
Despite the intimate atmosphere, he decided not to proceed with the pact that night, noting that it had been an exhausting day for both of them. As they drifted off to sleep, Nongyu resolved to use her love to dissolve the deep-seated resentment Xie Xinxu held toward her brother, Wu Siyuan, hoping she could keep both men in her life. Meanwhile, Lin Juan was struggling with his own condition, injecting an inhibitor in the solitude of his room.
He had recently noticed that the treatment's efficacy was rapidly declining. When Wu Siyuan entered, he warned Lin Juan that the body naturally builds up a tolerance when inhibitors are overused. Frustrated, Lin Juan recounted how he had been ambushed by a group in Mugang, which not only left him hospitalized for days but also cost him the chance to retrieve a fragment.
He demanded that Wu Siyuan arrange another matchmaking session to find him a compatible Yin, insisting on a successful bond this time to prevent him from going berserk. Wu Siyuan was dismissive, reminding Lin Juan that he had already squandered a previous opportunity by losing to Xie Xinxu.
When Lin Juan angrily asked if they were even friends, Wu Siyuan coldly replied that he made it a rule not to befriend a "Ren" (Blade), and even if forced to, he would proceed with extreme caution. Filled with bitterness, Lin Juan left the room and made a phone call to locate someone. Later, Lin Juan visited Wu Nongyu and found her having just accidentally cut her finger while working.
Although she asked him to wait in the living room, Lin Juan instead followed her and locked the door behind him. He confrontationaly pointed out that she and Xie Xinxu had clearly failed to form a pact, questioning why she had chosen to use an inhibitor on Xie Xinxu during his recent loss of control instead of calming him through a bond. He even threatened to test her blood to see if she was lying about their relationship.
However, as he moved toward her, he ultimately hesitated and backed down, admitting to himself that he lacked the true malice required to be a villain. Xie Xinxu arrived shortly after, initially suspecting that Lin Juan was harassing Nongyu until the situation was explained. Seizing the moment, Lin Juan proposed a deal: he would lead them to a fragment if Nongyu convinced her brother to transfer him to the logistics department, as he was exhausted by frontline duty.
Nongyu agreed to the trade, and though Lin Juan reached out to seal the deal with her, Xie Xinxu stepped in and firmly shook his hand instead. In a secluded underground garage, Wu Siyuan met with Director Xia. The Director expressed her dissatisfaction with the slow progress in obtaining the fragment from Yin Che and authorized Wu Siyuan to use unconventional methods if necessary. Once Wu Siyuan departed, a subordinate named Xiao Zhang approached the Director.
It was revealed that Zhang had been secretly recruited to monitor Wu Siyuan’s every move. Director Xia promised to bring Zhang to work directly under her once Wu Siyuan was dealt with. Reflecting on her own past as a pharmaceutical clerk, Director Xia explained her obsession with power. Ten years ago, she had discovered research notes on the mutation pathway of the Affinity virus and used her own blood to develop the first inhibitors.
She confessed that she had clawed her way to the top by ensuring the Bureau remained indispensable; if the fragments were gathered and a true cure was developed, the Special Administration Bureau would lose its reason to exist. She urged Zhang to be ruthless, as their opponents were just as determined to seize the opportunity. Back at his residence, Wu Siyuan received a message from Nongyu.
She demanded that he transfer Lin Juan to logistics and lend him to her for a week, promising that this would earn his forgiveness. Fearing for her safety, Wu Siyuan agreed but pleaded with her to stop involving herself with the fragments, insisting that he was only trying to protect her. Meanwhile, Xie Xinxu met with Mr. Ding and confessed his own manipulative actions.
He admitted that he had intentionally let Nongyu see the video of Wu Siyuan mistreating him, believing he could manage her reaction. However, he realized he had miscalculated when he briefly lost contact with her; the fear of losing her made him realize how much he truly cared. He felt guilty seeing her try so hard to please him to make up for her brother's sins, which was why he couldn't bring himself to form the pact yet.
Mr. Ding likened Xie Xinxu’s path of revenge to a train on a cliffside and suggested that even if he couldn't stop the journey, he should at least ensure that those traveling with him felt happy and at ease. Taking this advice to heart, Xie Xinxu joined Nongyu and Lin Juan on a journey to Mugang, located in a complex desert zone on the Western District border.
As they neared their destination, Lin Juan handed out scarves to help them blend in. Xie Xinxu tenderly wrapped the scarf around Nongyu, much to the annoyance of Lin Juan watching from behind. They eventually arrived at a boxing gym where a match was underway. Lin Juan looked at the ring with a sense of familiarity, recalling his own history there. He revealed that the gym owner had confirmed the prize for the competition was indeed a hard drive fragment. As they watched, Lin Juan remembered his time fighting there, having already defeated nine challengers in the past, just as a voice from the crowd offered congratulations.
