Wu Nongyu told Xie Xinxu the license plate number on the note sent by Lin Juan, so they could be rescued and leave. Xie Xinxu planned to try and leave. Wu Nongyu pretended to have an upset stomach and needed to go to the hospital. Max proactively pushed the wheelchair, showing sincerity in his apology. However, when going up the elevator, he only took Wu Nongyu up, stating that too many people would cause an overload.
Xie Xinxu wanted to rush up but was held at gunpoint, so he could only grudgingly trust Max. In the elevator, Max blamed Wu Nongyu for getting sick at the wrong time. Wu Nongyu explained that she and Xie Xinxu were only allied because of the virus, and there were no emotional ties between them. Xie Xinxu feared that Wu Nongyu would be harmed, so he rushed downstairs.
Fortunately, he saw Wu Nongyu unharmed, and only then did he get into the car with her. The drivers were none other than Li Xiang and Lin Juan. Halfway through the drive, Xie Xinxu suddenly made a move, injecting both Li Xiang's and Lin Juan's necks with a tranquilizer. Max's people already knew about Lin Juan's rescue plan, which is why they deliberately separated Wu Nongyu and Xie Xinxu.
They used Wu Nongyu to threaten Xie Xinxu, demanding that he bring the two strongest people from the Special Administration Bureau for Max's use. He pretended it was due to Wu Nongyu's poor marksmanship, then picked her up and returned to the room. Wu Nongyu was very angry, believing that Xie Xinxu did not care about other people's lives, but she did.
She also pointed out that Xie Xinxu's many attempts to curry favor were all for the purpose of forming a bond. Xie Xinxu was very disappointed, not expecting Wu Nongyu to think of him that way. Wu Nongyu sulked, saying that if she had known it would come to this, she would have chosen Lin Juan when forming the bond in Xi'an back then.

Wu Nongyu defiantly tore open her clothes, telling Xie Xinxu to skip the preliminaries and go straight to the purpose of forming the bond. In a fit of rage, Xie Xinxu carried Wu Nongyu onto the bed and deliberately proposed forming a bond. As Wu Nongyu watched Xie Xinxu lean closer, tears unconsciously flowed down her face.
She took out the pendant Xie Xinxu had given her earlier and aimed it at his neck. However, Xie Xinxu stopped in time and reminded Wu Nongyu not to act tough again in the future. The next morning, when Wu Nongyu woke up, she found that Xie Xinxu was no longer in the room. Breakfast was placed in front of her. Just as Wu Nongyu reached out her hand, Xie Xinxu sprang up from the floor.
Wu Nongyu also noticed that Xie Xinxu had dark circles under his eyes from not sleeping all night. At this moment, Max arrived, taking the two of them to a certain place.
