Xia Qiange and Gu Chengze woke up and found themselves sleeping on the same bed, which startled them. Xia Qiange said that they were legally married now, so it's not a big deal, and he pulled Gu Chengze closer and kissed him.
Gu Chengze said he would go cook, but Xia Qiange insisted that he couldn't let a patient cook, so she would do it instead. Xia Qiange cooked several dishes, and Gu Chengze tasted them. He found them delicious and finished a bowl of rice but couldn't hold it and went to the bathroom.
Xia Qiange took a bite and found it particularly bad, thinking that Gu Chengze didn't have to eat it. However, Gu Chengze said that he couldn't let down his wife and the food she cooked. Xia Qiange was deeply moved.
Xia Qiange and Gu Chengze wanted to use a linen bag to beat Gu Chengfeng, but they realized that the voice was off after they finished. They opened the linen bag and surprisingly found Song Jie inside. Xia Qiange and Gu Chengze invited Song Jie to have a meal and apologized to him. Xia Qiange said she would make it up to him by introducing a girlfriend to him. Gu Chengze asked Song Jie if he still liked Xia Qiange, and Song Jie admitted that he did before, but Xia Qiange didn't have feelings for him, so he let it go.
Yang Fan came to find Gu Chengze and said she was fired for leaking information. Gu Chengze said he would go talk to Xia Qiange, but Yang Fan stopped him and admitted that it was her fault in the first place. Gu Chengze asked if there was anything he could do for her, and Yang Fan said she would let him know once she figured it out.
