Resumen del episodio 24 de My Sunshine
> Resúmenes de My Sunshine
While still on their honeymoon in Mauritius, Zhao Mosheng was confined to their room, recovering from a cold. She expressed boredom to He Yichen, tired of the same views and meals, but he insisted she rest until her fever subsided. Yichen, ever attentive, even had work sent from his law firm to complete remotely so he could stay by her side. Mosheng, yearning for the beautiful seascape, eventually convinced him to let her venture out.
After some playful negotiation, they went to the beach, where Yichen lovingly presented her with a necklace featuring a 'sunshine' pendant, which she accepted with a sweet smile. After returning from Mauritius, Zhao Mosheng was back at work. Her colleagues excitedly discussed her trip, but she admitted she barely enjoyed it due to falling ill.
Tao Yijing suggested that Mosheng accompany her that afternoon to Attorney He Yichen's law firm to interview Xiang Heng, whom she described as another handsome lawyer there. Mosheng hesitated, explaining that her editor-in-chief had assigned her to interview the cast of Xiao Xiao’s new TV drama. Hearing Xiao Xiao's name, Lu Yuanfeng, who had been unusually quiet, immediately volunteered to take on the "exhausting work," claiming it was unsuitable for a female colleague.
Despite Mosheng suggesting he go with Tao Yijing, Yuanfeng insisted on taking the interview with Xiao Xiao's cast, leading his colleagues to remark on his sudden enthusiasm. Meanwhile, at the law firm, Lao Yuan confronted Yi Chen about not informing his family of his marriage, revealing he had accidentally "spilled the news" to Yi Mei. Lao Yuan called Yi Chen hard-hearted, claiming he would have given in to Yi Mei by now.
Yi Chen, however, maintained that what is incomplete is never the best, and his sister deserved true happiness, adding that sometimes doing too much can be harmful. Yi Chen later called Yi Mei’s mother to inform her of his marriage. Yi Mei’s mother then spoke to Yi Mei, finally understanding her daughter’s recent distress.
While she had always encouraged Yi Mei to pursue her own happiness, she firmly told her that since Yi Chen was now married, Yi Mei must forget him. Yi Mei vehemently disagreed, asserting that Mosheng was not worthy of Yi Chen and that she did not deserve him, especially after her parents had raised Yi Chen like their own son.
Her mother patiently explained the difference between love and familial affection, reminding Yi Mei that their care for Yi Chen was a duty born of friendship and gratitude, and that she could not demand love from him or blame him for his choices.
At the press conference for Xiao Xiao’s new TV drama, "City White Collar Workers," Lu Yuanfeng diligently took photos from a distance, watching Xiao Xiao confidently discuss her transition from modeling to acting and her future aspirations, which included exploring anchoring and singing. Back at the law firm, Tao Yijing was interviewing Xiang Heng.
She playfully told Mosheng, who was taking photos, to go find her "lawyer husband" as Mosheng’s presence was making it difficult for Xiang Heng to be solemn. Mosheng walked over to Yi Chen’s office and sat at his desk, amusingly mimicking him answering a phone. Yi Chen walked in and smiled at her antics. He then told Mosheng his plan to take her to their hometown during the upcoming holidays to meet Yi Mei’s parents.
Mosheng, though initially surprised by the suddenness, agreed, making a joke about her short hair and mentioning the bird's nests she had bought for them in Hong Kong. Tao Yijing then reappeared, joking about "taking his wife away" for more photos, to which Yi Chen lightheartedly replied, asking her to "return her to me." Later, Mosheng received a phone call from Ying Hui, who said he had something important to discuss.
He offered to pick her up, but Mosheng informed him she was out taking photos and would call him back. Xiang Heng, who was driving Mosheng, offered to drop her off. Ying Hui took Mosheng to a photo exhibition, which he revealed was a gift for her and a realization of his own dream: to collect her photographs and eventually hold an exhibition where they could reminisce about their shared past as they grew old.
He pressed her on whether she understood his intentions. Mosheng reminded him that he had said he came back to find his lost love, but she insisted they were divorced. Ying Hui countered that their marriage was "fake" and that for him, it had never ended, neither legally nor in his heart.
He then revealed that their divorce in the United States had been ruled invalid due to an issue with the divorce agreement, rendering her divorce decree "just a piece of paper." He claimed that her marriage to He Yichen was thus illegal. Mosheng was shocked, insisting she had no knowledge of this. Ying Hui stated he had underestimated Yi Chen and now wanted to "make it right," urging Mosheng to return to the United States with him to start anew.
Mosheng firmly refused and left, while Ying Hui told her he would give her time to consider. Outside, Yi Chen was waiting for Mosheng. She hesitantly told him that Ying Hui claimed their US divorce was invalid. Yi Chen calmly confirmed that he had been informed of this a few days prior. He then drove her to a church they had admired in college, a place Mosheng had envisioned for their wedding.
Yi Chen confessed that he had already reserved the location. He knelt, presenting a diamond ring, and asked, "Will you marry me?" Mosheng, slightly confused, asked if they weren’t already married. Yi Chen responded, "Just like you said, it’s different. Today is our wedding." They embraced and kissed. Mosheng suddenly began coughing, prompting Yi Chen to playfully ask if she could be "more of a killjoy."
Mosheng confessed she had been breathless, to which Yi Chen assured her he wouldn’t "force her to do anything now." Mosheng, with a shy smile, quietly replied, "Actually, you can force me to do something." That night, as they lay in bed, Mosheng, unable to sleep, asked Yi Chen about her first days in the United States. Yi Chen was surprised she wanted to know.
Mosheng recounted her struggles with English, getting lost, and her poverty, having to eat terrible instant noodles. Yi Chen asked why her father hadn’t provided for her. She revealed that her father had left her a large sum of money, but after learning the circumstances of his death from the newspaper, she had anonymously donated it to the Chinese embassy during a fundraiser.
She explained that she felt if she didn’t have that money, her father would still be alive, and they would still be together. Mosheng shared that she had expected to be sad telling her story, but she wasn’t, because now she had Yi Chen. Yi Chen promised to tell her his story of the past seven years the following night, even if it was boring.
He then teasingly told her to grow out her hair, claiming her short hair was "really ugly." The next day, Lao Yuan and Xiang Heng met with an important client who expressed concern that Attorney He was not present, fearing he didn't prioritize the case. Lao Yuan quickly covered for Yi Chen, explaining he had been working tirelessly through the night on the case.
Yi Chen arrived just in time, apologizing for his lateness and attributing it to traffic, then smoothly transitioned into discussing the case. The client was reassured and highly impressed. After the client left, Lao Yuan pressed Yi Chen for the real reason for his tardiness. Yi Chen, with a smirk, simply told Lao Yuan to "get married earlier, and then you'll know," which thoroughly annoyed Lao Yuan.
Lao Yuan complained about Yi Chen "showing off his love all the time," to which Yi Chen boldly declared he might "show off every day" from now on. Later, Yi Chen called Ying Hui, who addressed him as "Lawyer He." Yi Chen sarcastically apologized for delaying their meeting due to being "too busy." Ying Hui, familiar with "psychological tactics," replied calmly.
Yi Chen then dropped a bombshell, telling Ying Hui that he hoped he would still maintain his confidence on the day he was convicted of forgery. Ying Hui, taken aback, demanded clarification on what he meant by "forgery." Yi Chen's voice was firm as he declared that there was no such thing as an invalid divorce, asserting that the divorce decree Ying Hui possessed had always been forged.
