Resumen del episodio 1 de My Sunshine
> Resúmenes de My Sunshine
Zhao Mosheng, a photographer, returned to Shanghai from the United States after seven years. As she walked through the airport, she harbored a quiet hope that the man she held in her heart would be waiting for her, wondering if anyone still remembered her after so long.
Meanwhile, He Yichen, a proficient lawyer, had just flown back from Hong Kong for a negotiation and was already engrossed in work calls at the terminal, giving instructions for various cases and preparing for an upcoming meeting. They unknowingly passed each other in the bustling airport. After He Yichen's flight, he immediately plunged into a contract negotiation where his opposing counsel was Xu Ying, an old classmate from Oxford.
During the meeting, Xu Ying delivered a lengthy review of the previous session. He Yichen subtly responded by emphasizing efficiency and client costs, noting the contract's complexity and their year-long discussions, before presenting his own redesigned management scheme. As the meeting concluded, He Yimei arrived to pick up He Yichen for dinner, having missed him at the airport earlier.
Seeing He Yimei, Xu Ying provocatively asked He Yichen why his former girlfriend, Zhao Mosheng, wasn't there, mentioning how inseparable they used to be and speculating that Zhao Mosheng was "old news" and He Yichen had now "fallen in love" with the "beautiful anchor." He Yichen's expression momentarily darkened before he calmly introduced He Yimei as his younger sister. He then politely excused himself and He Yimei, citing private matters.
While He Yimei drove, He Yichen remained engrossed in work, prompting her to playfully protest. He apologized, promising to be more present. She then probed about Xu Ying, suggesting the lawyer seemed jealous when she mentioned "that woman," presumably Zhao Mosheng, and even encouraged He Yichen to consider dating Xu Ying. He Yichen, however, dismissed the idea. Soon after, he took a phone call, asking his assistant to schedule a visa interview for an upcoming trip to America.
He Yimei immediately questioned if he was going to "find her," but He Yichen asserted it was merely for a "foreign-related negotiation." He Yimei then requested they go to the supermarket and a movie, but He Yichen could only commit to the supermarket, citing evening business. Distracted during their conversation, He Yimei accidentally collided with a motorcyclist.
Fortunately, the motorcyclist, Lu Yuanfeng, was unharmed and, recognizing He Yimei as a TV host for the legal channel, enthusiastically asked for her autograph and a photo before she continued on her way. Zhao Mosheng was successfully hired as a photographer by Treasure magazine. Editor-in-Chief Zhang expressed satisfaction with her resume but asked why she gave up a successful career in America to restart in China.
Zhao Mosheng explained that she loved the city where she attended college and simply returned for that reason. The editor-in-chief welcomed her, but Zhao Mosheng needed to find a place to live before starting work the next day. As they discussed this, Lu Yuanfeng, a fellow photographer, entered the office with an injured hand. The editor-in-chief chastised him for his carelessness, emphasizing the importance of a photographer's hands.
Lu Yuanfeng, blaming the "difficult" model Xiao Xiao for his distraction, then pointed to Zhao Mosheng, suggesting she was the perfect "ready-made candidate" to take over his upcoming assignments. Zhao Mosheng agreed to take over his work. Lu Yuanfeng was curious why Zhao Mosheng had brought her luggage to the interview. She explained she had just returned that morning and had nowhere to stay.
Understanding her predicament, Lu Yuanfeng generously offered her his friend's empty apartment, which he described as well-located, safe, and fully equipped, complete with good lighting and river views. Zhao Mosheng gratefully accepted. Settled into her new apartment, Zhao Mosheng went to a bustling supermarket. Unbeknownst to her, He Yichen and He Yimei were also shopping there, passing by her multiple times.
Eventually, in the wine aisle, Zhao Mosheng spotted He Yichen and He Yimei together and assumed they were a couple. Feeling she shouldn't intrude, she tried to move away, but her shopping cart unexpectedly rolled forward, crashing into a display and drawing attention. He Yimei saw Zhao Mosheng and asked He Yichen if he would say hello. He Yichen, after a brief glance, simply said, "Let's go," and they left.
As He Yichen drove He Yimei home, she reflected on her conflicted feelings: she had feared he would rush to Zhao Mosheng, but his cold departure made her even sadder. He Yichen, for his part, silently thought that Zhao Mosheng was "no longer the person in my life." Zhao Mosheng began her new photography role at Treasure magazine.
Lu Yuanfeng, still injured, came to support her, dramatically warning her about the notoriously difficult supermodel Xiao Xiao, whose previous photographer was on paternity leave. When Xiao Xiao arrived for the shoot, Zhao Mosheng was stunned to realize she was her former college roommate, Shaomei. Xiao Xiao, however, maintained a cold, professional demeanor, even rebuffing Zhao Mosheng's attempt to address her informally by her given name.
After an hour of shooting, Lu Yuanfeng found the sample photos satisfactory, but Zhao Mosheng felt they hadn't captured Xiao Xiao's true essence and wanted to try again. Following the shoot, Xiao Xiao invited Zhao Mosheng for coffee. Over coffee, Xiao Xiao commented on Zhao Mosheng's changes over the years, then recounted her own tragic life events and accused Zhao Mosheng of being hypocritical for returning from America.
Zhao Mosheng apologized, saying she left in a hurry, but Xiao Xiao cut her off, insisting she should apologize to He Yichen. Xiao Xiao passionately described He Yichen's desperate search for Zhao Mosheng after her disappearance seven years ago, his daily waits, and his utter devastation upon learning she had gone to America with no plans to return. She harshly called Zhao Mosheng "heartless" and vividly recalled He Yichen's grief-stricken face.
Zhao Mosheng suggested He Yichen might have felt guilty, but Xiao Xiao countered that Zhao Mosheng was the one who abandoned him. Zhao Mosheng tried to explain that Xiao Xiao didn't understand, saying it was He Yichen who had told her he never wanted to see her again and wished he had never known her. Xiao Xiao then abruptly changed the subject back to work.
Later, during the afternoon shoot, a still-agitated Xiao Xiao suddenly declared she felt unwell and wanted to stop, despite Lu Yuanfeng's protests about the high costs and her professional obligations. Xiao Xiao retorted that her "not feeling well" was a courtesy to "save your dignity," challenging Lu Yuanfeng to publicly accuse her.
