Lu Yuanfeng praised He Yimei's cooking, and she encouraged him to eat more. Yimei then asked Yuanfeng if Zhao Mosheng had been in a good mood recently. Yuanfeng replied that Mosheng seemed to have accumulated a lot of leave and planned to take a good rest. Mosheng, feeling adrift after their tense encounter at the hospital and realizing she couldn't escape Yichen, raced to his apartment.

She found him at his doorstep and, overcome, grabbed his hand, tearfully asking him, "Do you still want me?" After a moment of hesitation, Yichen let her inside and offered her water, then asked why she had come. When she mentioned visiting him at the hospital, he coldly told her to leave if she was just there for a patient visit. He then accused her, "If I didn't hear wrong, it seems like you want to take a lover.

And I'm honored to be the person you choose." Mosheng tried to deny it, but he pressed her about her marriage to Ying Hui, sarcastically offering to be her "secret lover" or "unseen affair" in China. Desperate to explain, Mosheng could only blurt out, "I got divorced." This revelation seemed to deepen Yichen's pain, and he retorted, "What makes you think that I, He Yichen, would want a divorced woman?"

When she tried to clarify her relationship with Ying Hui, he cut her off, stating, "You don't have to tell me everything about you and your ex-husband. If you want sympathy, comfort. . . I think you're asking the wrong person." Humiliated, Mosheng decided to leave. As she walked out, Yichen stopped her, insisting he would drive her home to avoid becoming a suspect if anything happened to her on the way.

Mosheng accepted, and Yichen grimly declared it would be "the last time in my life." The night passed sleeplessly for both, filled with memories of their shared past, including a flashback where Yichen had once asked her, "Give me a reason. Tell me that you love me." Meanwhile, Zhao Mosheng received an invitation to a photography charity show from the School of Visual Arts in New York.

Simultaneously, Ying Hui received an invitation from Changhua University to their centennial celebration, requesting him to give a speech as an honorary alumnus. The next morning, Yichen, having made up his mind, called Mosheng and instructed her to bring all her identification documents downstairs to his car. Puzzled, she complied and asked him what he needed them for. He stated plainly, "To the Civil Affairs Bureau. Yes, let's get our marriage registered."

Mosheng was shocked, but when Yichen told her to get out if she didn't want to go, she replied, "I'll go." She then echoed his own previous words, saying, "If you are destined to be my husband in the future, then why don't I exercise my rights earlier?" Despite Yichen's caution that such thinking often leads to mistakes, Mosheng was resolute.

At the Civil Affairs Bureau, their serious demeanor led a clerk to mistakenly ask if they were there for a divorce. After a brief detour to take their marriage photo, Yichen gave Mosheng one last chance to back out, saying, "You can still leave. Zhao Mosheng, this is your own choice." Mosheng affirmed her decision, even cheerfully remarking that she was already thinking about curtain colors for their home.

They both voluntarily signed the papers, and Yichen humorously told her, "You have no chance to regret now." Upon receiving their marriage certificates, Yichen instructed Mosheng to move all her belongings to his house. He also handed her his credit card, giving her the password, and informed her that he was leaving for a week-long business trip to Guangzhou in an hour.

When Mosheng tried to refuse the card, Yichen insisted, not wanting to argue on their first day of marriage. Arriving at Yichen's house, Mosheng still found it hard to believe she was truly married. Eager to share her news, she called Xiao Xiao and announced, "I got married." A surprised Xiao Xiao quickly guessed He Yichen was the groom, teasing Mosheng about having to prepare a red envelope.

Mosheng confided that she didn't have anyone else to share her happiness with, and Xiao Xiao sincerely wished her "happiness!" While attending a photography exhibition, Ying Hui was reminded of a time when Mosheng took his photos, prompting him to make a significant decision. He summoned his lawyer, Smith, and informed him that he would not submit their divorce settlement to the court.

Smith was surprised, calling it a "crazy decision," especially since Smith believed "Mrs. Ying" had already received a divorce decree from the court. Ying Hui clarified that the decree was merely Mosheng's perception, and legally, their divorce was not yet effective. He declared his intention to stay in China and dissolve the settlement himself.

He then instructed his assistant, Daniel, to accept Changhua University's invitation to speak at their centennial anniversary and to donate 30 million dollars to the school in the name of "Mr. and Mrs. Ying." He also asked Daniel to book him a flight to Shanghai for the weekend. Xiao Xiao enthusiastically helped Mosheng pack, playfully complaining about the lack of male assistance and suggesting they call Lu Yuanfeng.

Mosheng declined, stating she could handle it herself, but realized she should inform Yuanfeng about moving out of his friend's apartment. She called him, explaining her move was for personal reasons, and Yuanfeng understood. Later, Yuanfeng arrived to pick up a visibly disheartened He Yimei, who tried to turn down his offers for dinner, citing work. Yuanfeng noticed her low spirits, but she attributed it to work pressure.

During their conversation, Yuanfeng mentioned that Mosheng was moving out of the apartment he had helped her rent. Hearing this, Yimei made her way to Yichen's apartment building. Standing outside, she silently acknowledged to herself that there would never be a place for her with Yichen. Back at Yichen's apartment, Mosheng pondered where to put her newly moved belongings.

A female neighbor, Miss Zhou, visited and brought a box of wontons, explaining it was to thank Yichen for a borrowed item. Mosheng took the opportunity to inform the neighbor that she was Yichen's new wife. Later, Mosheng called Yichen, first mentioning the neighbor's visit and her suspected intentions. Yichen dismissed it, assuring her that any past feelings he might have had were "just an attempt." Mosheng then asked if she could convert his storage room into a darkroom.

When he casually agreed, she hesitantly asked, "Well, where should I put everything I moved over?" Yichen’s reply was firm: "Mrs. He, your husband is physically and mentally healthy. For now, I have no plan to live separately," making Mosheng feel foolish. She then asked when he would return, and he said, "Friday night," to which she replied, "Okay, I'll wait for you." She privately chastised herself for her clumsy questions.
