However, seeing the sweet interactions between Mo Sheng and He Yichen, Yimei lost her interest in the movie and excused herself, claiming to feel dizzy and wanting to go home early.
Mo Sheng felt uncertain about her current relationship with He Yichen, observing that they weren't quite like husband and wife, though he no longer seemed angry. She visited a men's clothing store and bought He Yichen a trench coat using his card. While signing the receipt, she was reminded of a time when He Yichen used to correct her handwriting for his name, specifically noting that for the character "He," the inside part should be written first, then the hook.
She smiled to herself. Leaving the store, Mo Sheng reflected that their relationship was like "dating with a guarantee" now that they were married. When she gave He Yichen the coat, she explicitly stated she wanted to use it as a condition for him to take her to the school celebration, also mentioning she had bought it with his card. He eventually acquired it at the beginning of the year, but at almost double the original price. He then instructed Linda to arrange an interview with a magazine, as Changhua University had called to confirm the time and place of their celebration. On the day of the school celebration, Mo Sheng found He Yichen calmly reading. She pressed him about not going, but he said Lao Yuan was sufficient, as it was just a fundraiser.
Mo Sheng expressed a strong desire to revisit her alma mater, stating that if he didn't go, she would go with Senior Yuan. She felt that although they could go to the university anytime, today held a special meaning. He Yichen, seeing her determination, finally conceded. Upon arriving at the university, Mo Sheng eagerly pointed out that "nothing has changed here," and recalled meeting He Yichen on her first day, calling it "what an unfortunate start."
She spotted a stall selling Changhua University T-shirts and enthusiastically bought two, insisting He Yichen wear one too, believing they would look like college students. He Yichen received a call from Xiang Heng, who urged him to visit their department, as many classmates wanted to see him, threatening to go to his house if he didn't come.
Mo Sheng realized she hadn't brought her wallet or phone, so He Yichen gave her his phone, telling her to call him when she was ready to leave and that his password was her birthday. Ying Hui spoke eloquently about building service-type websites based on user needs versus creativity, emphasizing that the latter truly respects users by creating and guiding their interests. In the audience, some girls whispered about Ying Hui's past, claiming his college girlfriend was a campus beauty who left him for the dean's son, leading Ying Hui to go abroad. During the Q&A session, a student boldly asked if Ying Hui's love story was as epic and dreamlike as his career.
After a brief pause, Ying Hui explained that the question simply made him think of his wife, whom he hadn't seen in a long time. He concluded that his love story was not epic, but "just a love poem between the two of us," and expressed his earnest hope to see her soon. Later, He Yichen and his classmates went to Binjiang Hotel for dinner. He Yichen called Mo Sheng, instructing her to meet them directly at the restaurant.
At the hotel, the classmate introduced her cousin, Zhou Bing, to He Yichen. Xiang Heng, in a casual remark, asked He Yichen why his wife hadn't arrived yet. Law Firm to Ying Hui, who was looking for a long-term legal partner in China, praising the three partners as Changhua Law School graduates. Ying Hui expressed interest and asked for an introduction. Meanwhile, Mo Sheng found herself lost on campus, prompting He Yichen to ride a bicycle to pick her up. Their appearance together drew attention. Suddenly, a man shouted "Mrs. Ying!" , rushing towards Mo Sheng.
He identified himself as Director Lin, chairman of Dashang Company, and expressed his gratitude for her and Mr. Ying's hospitality in the U. S. the previous year. Mo Sheng tried to say he had mistaken her for someone else. Just then, Ying Hui approached, calmly telling Director Lin that his wife was on vacation in Switzerland, remarking that his eyesight "is not as good as before."
After Director Lin left, a relieved Mo Sheng tried to explain the situation to He Yichen, but he simply said, "Let's talk about it when we get home." Later, Ying Hui and He Yichen encountered each other in the men's restroom. After exchanging polite greetings, Ying Hui provocatively asked He Yichen why he wasn't curious about how he knew his name. law firm and He Yichen's successful new client, Ying Hui. They then playfully made Mo Sheng drink, leading her to become quite drunk. The next morning, Mo Sheng woke up to find He Yichen had already prepared breakfast. She attempted to explain the previous day's events, but He Yichen gently interrupted her. He told her not to mention the past for the sake of their happiness. After breakfast, he drove her to work. At work, Mo Sheng received an assignment: to prepare for an upcoming interview with Ying Hui, the President of Inso.
