He Yichen and Ying Hui's intense competition continued after Mo Sheng arrived at Ying Hui's pre-booked sea-view room. While Mo Sheng paced anxiously, checking her watch, the two men resumed their billiards match, restarting several games. Ying Hui reflected on his regret over the past three years, admitting he spent too much time on work and lost Mo Sheng, wishing he could change that.

Yichen, however, pointed out Ying Hui's inconsistency, recalling his own words about seizing every minute, and then subtly criticized Ying Hui's shifting priorities. Ying Hui responded that "blessed men have no need to constantly strive for better, only the unblessed," implying Yichen's current state. The next morning, Xiao Hong and Dabao were having breakfast in a tea restaurant when Mo Sheng joined them. Xiao Hong, curious, immediately asked about the two men.

Mo Sheng, exasperated, replied that they had spent the night playing various ball games, starting with billiards, then table tennis, and likely concluding with badminton. Just then, He Yichen and Ying Hui were seen in the hallway. Ying Hui teasingly remarked that Yichen hadn't booked a room the previous night. Yichen responded cryptically, causing Ying Hui to simply comment, "Lawyers." Later, Wang Jinwei (Miffel), the fashion brand owner, finally arrived for her interview with a demanding attitude.

She declared she only had two hours, disliked being interviewed while being filmed, and insisted the photoshoot take place only at the very end. During the interview, Mo Sheng politely requested Miffel to remove her sunglasses, explaining they obscured her beauty. Miffel retorted bluntly that she only agreed to the interview as a favor and considered it a "low-end" affair, questioning why she would show her full face for such an undignified task.

Just as the tension rose, Yichen arrived, bringing red bean shaved ice for everyone. Earlier, He Yichen had received a phone call from Xiang Heng asking about his Hong Kong business, to which Yichen playfully responded he was "delivering red bean ice," making this arrival his "new business." Miffel, seeing Yichen, immediately challenged Mo Sheng, asking if he was her new boyfriend and if she had rejected Ying Hui for him.

Mo Sheng, in turn, highlighted Yichen's profession as an excellent lawyer. Miffel dismissed him as "just someone who represents people in court," which provoked Mo Sheng to fiercely counter that Miffel "just makes clothes for people." Angered by Mo Sheng's retort, Miffel stormed off, temporarily halting the interview. Yichen, pleased by Mo Sheng's spirited defense, playfully praised her eloquence, noting it was the first time he'd seen her so articulate, and attributed it to her learning from him.

He Yichen and Mo Sheng finally found a moment of peace and happiness during their Hong Kong trip, letting go of their earlier tensions. That evening, as they sat by Victoria Harbour, Mo Sheng remarked that their current dynamic felt like they were dating. Yichen gently reminded her that they were already married.

Mo Sheng privately decided to overlook Yichen's past reservations, confident that once he learned the full truth of her situation with Ying Hui, he would be the one apologizing to her. Meanwhile, Lu Yuanfeng was undertaking a photoshoot with Xiao Xiao in a separate professional engagement. He learned that the original photographer refused to work with Xiao Xiao because of a past disagreement, and Xiao Xiao adamantly refused to apologize, believing she was in the right.

Lu Yuanfeng, contemplating his own recent argument with He Yimei, asked Xiao Xiao what one should do if they refuse to apologize for being in the right, only for the other person to stop speaking to them entirely. Xiao Xiao, realizing he was referring to Yimei, offered a sarcastic "schadenfreude," then good-naturedly told him to "beg his goddess" for forgiveness. In a separate development, Ying Hui's assistant delivered a gift box to Tong Xinying.

Upon hearing that Ying Hui was busy with a company acquisition in Hong Kong, Tong Xinying refused the gift. She asked the assistant to relay a message to Ying Hui: she cared not for fancy dresses or jewels, but only wished for him to make time to talk to her. The assistant assured her the message would be passed on, but still insisted she accept the gift. INSO successfully acquired Huatian Company in Hong Kong.

Back at the TV station, a leader suggested to He Yimei that she invite Ying Hui, the handsome and powerful president of INSO, as the inaugural guest for her new talk show, assuring her it would guarantee high ratings. Yimei expressed doubt, noting Ying Hui's low-key nature and reputation for not giving personal interviews to the press. However, the leader countered that "Treasure" magazine had successfully interviewed him, and a TV station like theirs would surely be seen as superior.

Later, Yimei met with Lu Yuanfeng for dinner, asking him to help her contact Ying Hui. She stressed the critical importance of a strong start for her new program, implicitly putting her career's success on the line and hoping Lu Yuanfeng would assist. Lu Yuanfeng had hoped to discuss their personal relationship but put it aside for her request.

Yimei internally acknowledged the interview's importance to her career, even considering asking her father for help if Lu Yuanfeng couldn't secure Ying Hui. He Yichen received a phone call from Xiang Heng, who had arranged for him to take on a case in Hong Kong. Upon arriving at the designated meeting place, Yichen was surprised to find Miffel was his potential client. Miffel, still irritated from their earlier encounter, reacted with clear aversion.

Lawyer Zhang, who was also present, explained to Miffel that for a Mainland heritage lawsuit, it was highly advisable to hire a Mainland lawyer, and Yichen was one of the best. Miffel, however, remained distrustful, pointing out that Yichen didn't even know her surname. Yichen calmly apologized, explaining he was used to hearing his wife refer to her as "Miss Miffel," and then addressed her correctly as "Miss Wang."

Despite Lawyer Zhang's advice, Miffel refused to discuss the case with Yichen, who, in turn, stated he wasn't planning on taking the case either. When Miffel expressed surprise at him "turning down the money," Yichen asserted that lawyers, while representing clients, also retain the right to choose them.

Lawyer Zhang regretfully informed Miffel that she had just rejected the only lawyer capable of helping her win the complex case, explaining that Miffel's prior argument with Yichen's wife (Mo Sheng) was the reason for his refusal. On the return flight to Shanghai, Ying Hui and He Yichen coincidentally met again. Ying Hui, resuming his competitive banter, taunted Yichen for being "nervous" and "unintelligent" to chase Mo Sheng across a thousand miles after a single day.

Yichen retorted that such actions were "the fun between couples," a concept Ying Hui, as a single man, wouldn't understand. Ying Hui continued to provoke, suggesting Yichen was "returning in low spirits," referring to the party where Mo Sheng refused to play along with their delayed divorce announcement. Yichen simply said he was looking forward to seeing what else Ying Hui could do.

A flight attendant, impressed by Yichen, attempted to get his contact information, but he politely declined, stating he wasn't taking on new business. Ying Hui then remarked that lawyers were merely "appendages to the wealthy and powerful," despite their popularity. Yichen countered that gentlemen have "boundaries" and asserted his ability to refuse cases and achieve justice. He even suggested that if a client ever sued Ying Hui, he wouldn't hesitate to take the case.

Ying Hui dismissed Yichen's words as "fanciful." Upon landing, Mo Sheng, Yichen, Xiao Hong, and Dabao met up. Xiao Hong, noticing Ying Hui was on their flight, playfully mentioned that Yichen seemed happy, having gained an admirer during the short trip. Yichen, however, teasingly suggested Ying Hui, being single, deserved admirers more. Xiao Hong then asked Yichen who he was married to. Yichen simply pointed to Mo Sheng, and Mo Sheng replied, "Me."

Xiao Hong and Dabao were shocked to learn of Mo Sheng's marriage to Yichen, as Mo Sheng had kept it a secret from them. Mo Sheng asked them to maintain confidentiality to avoid paparazzi attention, which Xiao Hong readily agreed to. Ying Hui's assistant later updated him on the day's events, mentioning Tong Xinying's message and Lu Yuanfeng's request for an interview for his girlfriend, He Yimei, Yichen's sister. Ying Hui, who usually declined personal interviews, showed interest upon hearing Yimei's name.
