Resumen del episodio 34 de Affinity
> Resúmenes de Affinity
Wu Nongyu thanked Lin Juan for his continued help in posing as her boyfriend to ward off unwanted suitors. While Lin Juan admitted he was more than willing to make the role permanent, Nongyu reminded him that she was still technically a married woman, despite their separation. Accepting the situation for now, Lin Juan asked for a small favor in return, handing her a container and asking her to keep it filled with candy.
When Nongyu remarked that she had refilled it quite recently, Lin Juan playfully countered that her last "refill" was already a month ago. Having moved in right next door, Lin Juan visited Nongyu daily to share meals. Nongyu realized this was his way of honoring a promise made to her brother, Wu Siyuan, and she lightheartedly advised him not to take the instruction so seriously.
She even joked that he should start paying for his food, leading Lin Juan to quipped about selling himself to her with a lifetime warranty to cover the costs. Their conversation eventually shifted to the search for the final fragment. Lin Juan revealed its likely location was Xiaoshan Village, a place once popular for adventure tourism but recently avoided due to viral rumors of supernatural activity.
Nongyu remained skeptical of the ghost stories, so they planned to hire a local guide and gather equipment. Lin Juan also reminded her that it was the tenth of the month—time for her antiviral inhibitor injection. However, Nongyu insisted on postponing the shot until after their mission, fearing the drug's heavy sedative effect would prevent her from waking up when needed. Upon arriving at a restaurant near the village, Xie Xinxu spotted Nongyu from a distance.
He watched her for a long time with a faint smile but hesitated to approach. While they were eating, Chen Yiyi appeared with her boyfriend and greeted Nongyu, teasing her about her "companion" before Nongyu helped the couple take a photo. Moments later, Nongyu thought she saw Xie Xinxu nearby and rushed toward the figure, only to realize she had grabbed the arm of the guide Lin Juan had arranged.
The guide offered them a "private price" to bypass his boss, and after Lin Juan paid him twenty thousand yuan to enter the restricted areas of the village, the guide boasted about being a dedicated "workaholic" who would risk anything for the job. As they hiked into the mountains, the guide noted Nongyu’s exhaustion, which Lin Juan attributed to her missing her recent injection. The atmosphere shifted when the guide received a phone call.
The person on the other end described the guests perfectly—mentioning a man with single eyelids and a woman with long, curly hair—and asked for their location. Realizing they were being tracked, likely by the Special Administration Bureau, Nongyu and Lin Juan quickly went into hiding.
When a group of men in black arrived, Lin Juan prepared to draw them away, but Nongyu stopped him, worried that his high drug resistance might cause him to lose control if he were forced into a fight. As they hid, another figure in black appeared and successfully lured the pursuers away. Watching the man's retreating figure, Nongyu felt a profound sense of familiarity. Xie Xinxu had indeed been the one to lead the pursuers away.
Although he managed to eliminate the attackers, the battle left him injured and drained. Even after administering three inhibitors to himself, his condition remained critical. Sensing something was wrong, Nongyu rushed back toward the scene of the conflict to confirm her suspicions. She arrived just as Xiao Zhang and two other "Ren" were closing in on the weakened Xie Xinxu. As one of the attackers moved to strike, Nongyu intervened by hurls a large stone, knocking the "Ren" unconscious.
Xie Xinxu, barely able to stand, pulled Nongyu into a brief, relieved embrace while Lin Juan arrived and watched them in silence. The moment of respite was cut short as three more people emerged from the forest. Lin Juan immediately stepped in front of Nongyu and Xie Xinxu to shield them from the new arrivals.
