Synopsis
Zhan Peng’s father was a railway police officer who died in the line of duty years ago and was posthumously honored as a martyr. Zhan Peng has always hoped to return to the place where his father once worked. However, when he finally arrives in Xiatong and begins his job, he discovers that the situation there is far more complicated than he imagined.
At first, he does not trust the veteran officer Tu Hongjiang. During a drug trafficking case, Tu’s behavior appears highly suspicious, which makes Zhan Peng wary of him. Yet, over time, Tu Hongjiang proves his innocence through his actions. As they continue to investigate cases together, Zhan Peng gradually comes to respect him, and the two eventually join forces to bring the mastermind behind the crimes to justice.
