Luo Man invited Fang Chi to dinner to discuss going to the film crew. Fang Chi was unwilling to go because his work was too busy. Luo Man thought that medical staff had been the most hardworking over the past few months, and it was a very meaningful thing that everyone should see the greatness and worthy contributions of the medical staff. But Fang Chi did not agree immediately.

Luo Man then lowered her stance and pleaded, but Fang Chi still refused to go. Instead, he looked at Luo Man with interest and reminded her to eat, but Luo Man had no appetite at all. Fang Chi and Tiaotiao had agreed to go camping together. Unexpectedly, Luo Man came uninvited, claiming that Tiaotiao had a fever and couldn't come, so she came instead. The two of them grilled food and played with fireworks together.

Fang Chi specially made the hospital's signature skewers and flatbread for Luo Man to eat. The two of them enjoyed the rare leisure time. Luo Man also expressed understanding towards Fang Chi, as after all, there were only a few talented people left in the hospital, and the competition was fierce. However, if Fang Chi went for the filming, it would be easier for him to gain recognition and attract the attention of his mentors.

The hospital video recording work officially began. Luo Man was busy running around like a top, arranging various matters. That evening, Jiang Ya and Zhong Qingcheng had dinner with Xu Ge.

After a few rounds of drinks, Xu Ge deliberately made things difficult for Jiang Ya in the private room, and the atmosphere became tense. Seeing this, Zhong Qingcheng quickly got up to toast and kept praising Xu Ge for being righteous and loyal. Xu Ge was attracted by Zhong Qingcheng's cleverness, and the two talked happily, surprisingly becoming friends. After dinner, Jiang Ya took Zhong Qingcheng home.

Along the way, Jiang Ya was filled with gratitude for Zhong Qingcheng helping him out, and his love for her grew stronger. So he plucked up the courage to suggest a relationship, also confessing his past with his ex-wife, hoping to impress her with his sincerity. Zhong Qingcheng smiled and responded, saying that she had actually noticed Jiang Ya's feelings long ago, but she didn't think they were suitable for developing into a romantic relationship.

After a busy day, Luo Man was so tired that she slumped into a hospital chair and unconsciously fell asleep. Fang Chi quietly walked over, and the two of them snuggled up and fell asleep like that. When Fang Chi woke up, he found Luo Man holding him tightly. He did not disturb this sweetness but quietly enjoyed this warm moment.

When Luo Man woke up, she looked at Fang Chi, pretending to be calm on the surface, praising this "little brother" for being sensible and considerate, allowing her to rest assuredly, but her heart was already blooming with joy. By chance, Luo Man captured a heartwarming scene of Fang Chi sending a little girl patient home after her discharge.

Watching Fang Chi patiently instruct the little girl on precautions, with a warm smile on his face, Luo Man was deeply moved. She knew that doctors not only had to cure diseases and save people but also provide spiritual comfort to patients, becoming their reliance during illness. That evening, the weather suddenly changed, and heavy rain poured down.

Instead of romantically holding an umbrella to shield Luo Man from the wind and rain like in an idol drama, Fang Chi handed her a plastic bag, and the two of them rushed into the rain hand in hand. When they got home, both were drenched. Luo Man felt sorry for Fang Chi and proactively helped him dry his clothes.

When she saw Fang Chi's strong abdominal muscles, Luo Man couldn't help but feel her heart race and her cheeks flush. Fang Chi stood up and slowly walked towards her. Luo Man instantly became nervous and flustered. However, because the rain had stopped, Fang Chi turned around to tidy up things. Only then did Luo Man realize that this "little brother" was playing hard to get, and she couldn't help but show a sweet smile.

The next day, Chen Kaixi invited Luo Man and Zhong Qingcheng to a gathering. While chatting, she mentioned how Chen Mian was particularly concerned about Fang Chi's marriage, as if he were Fang Chi's father, worrying about everything for him. Zhong Qingcheng arrived late because she was busy with social engagements. She punished herself with a glass of wine, feeling guilty for making her two good friends wait every time.

She sat there eating with them, but actually couldn't eat anything and could only listen to gossip. Zhong Qingcheng knew that Chen Mian's company had encountered some problems and had asked Zhou Musun to help, after which the company returned to normal. Just then, Zhong Qingcheng received another phone call and left in a hurry. Chen Kaixi felt uncomfortable.

She had originally wanted to help Chen Mian, but Chen Mian's problem was solved, and she had to hear about the solution from others. Zhong Qingcheng had another social engagement, so she left in a hurry. Chen Kaixi and Luo Man also had to leave, but each had something on her mind. The scene where Fang Chi sends off the patient needed to be reshot.

The director failed to communicate with Fang Chi and had no choice but to find Luo Man, hoping she could talk to Fang Chi. However, Luo Man refused, believing that this was a documentary, and staging it might not produce a good effect. The director was unhappy with Luo Man's protectiveness and sent her to the emergency department to film instead. Fang Chi, however, was standing outside the door and heard these words.

He hadn't expected Luo Man to stand up to the director for him. Therefore, Fang Chi came to thank Luo Man. Luo Man, however, responded with a relatively firm attitude, stating that documentaries inherently don't require staging, and it would be the same for anyone else. Fang Chi felt uncomfortable, thinking that there might be something different between him and Luo Man, but Luo Man stated that there was no difference between the two of them.

Because Luo Man defended Fang Chi, the director constantly asked her to do various communications. What Luo Man didn't expect was that the person she had to communicate with this time turned out to be Zhou Musun. The two met again and gazed at each other.
