At the second press conference, where Xue Xiaodong was seated next to Angie, reporters questioned him about the previous scandal and his relationship with Angie. Annie expertly deflected all questions, leaving Xue Xiaodong no chance to speak his mind. Just then, Ye Muqi, along with Zhu Shanqi, Huang Nan, and Huang Yi, burst into the press conference. Having heard about Xue Xiaodong's planned withdrawal from school, they demanded to know his true intentions.
Ye Muqi urged him to speak his mind, dismissing Annie's attempts to intervene. She reminded Xue Xiaodong of his strength and resilience, saying he was the toughest person she knew and there was nothing he couldn't defeat. With his classmates' unwavering support, Xue Xiaodong finally spoke his truth to the media. He declared that he did not want to leave school or participate in the upcoming film. He admitted he was not familiar with Miss Angie.
His only desire was to quietly remain in Class 10 with his beloved schoolmates, expressing his genuine love for them and for learning. His classmates cheered loudly. Annie, ever the quick-thinking manager, immediately adapted her narrative. She told the press that there was no press conference, but rather a clarification of Mr. Xue Xiaodong's scandal, emphasizing his cherished friendship with his schoolmates. She announced that the company would take legal action against those who defamed him.
She quickly ended the conference and blocked reporters from following Xue Xiaodong, ensuring he could leave with his friends.
