> Resumos de Never Gone
Feeling discouraged after being reprimanded by Miss Guo, Su Yunjin stays late at the office to organize data. Her colleague, Li Feng, offers advice, suggesting she focus on her assigned duties as an intern rather than interjecting too many new ideas, which are typically for more senior staff. He acknowledges her current mistake is not major and can be fixed, then encourages her generally before leaving.
Cheng Zheng soon arrives with food, specifically steamed buns from their high school days, hoping to cheer up Su Yunjin. Despite their agreement to pretend not to know each other at work, Cheng Zheng insists he can still bring food to a "new colleague." He urges her to eat, emphasizing that as new interns "in the same boat," they will "face the good and bad together," and her well-being affects his work.
Su Yunjin finally eats, expressing her concern that the initial statistical results she's working with are largely falsified and unreliable. Cheng Zheng finds her point valid. She then realizes that Li Feng had previously mentioned the company already implementing measures like "percentage of data credibility" and "spot checks" to address these issues, making her feel she had underestimated the company's foresight.
Cheng Zheng volunteers to help her sort through the pile of physical data, insisting she owes him a favor for the meal, and playfully reminding her of their shared fate. They continue working late into the night. Later, Jin Zi waits for Mo Yuhua outside her workplace at a school. As they stroll and chat, Jin Zi is unexpectedly hit by a football. Mo Yuhua is surprised to see Zhou Ziyi there, learning he works as a football coach.
They quickly take Jin Zi to the school's medical room, where a doctor confirms no serious injury. Zhou Ziyi offers to pay the medical expenses, but Jin Zi declines, mentioning school insurance. Jin Zi assures Zhou Ziyi he won't reveal his new job.
When Mo Yuhua offers to take Jin Zi back to his school, Zhou Ziyi playfully insists on doing it himself, referring to them as "colleagues," and escorts Jin Zi away, stating anything that happens after he drops Jin Zi off is no longer his concern. Back at the office, Su Yunjin continues working diligently, while Cheng Zheng eventually falls asleep at his desk from exhaustion. Su Yunjin, moved by his presence, gently drapes her jacket over him.
As dawn breaks, she finishes her tasks, observing Cheng Zheng peacefully sleeping, a warm smile gracing her face before she, too, finally rests at her desk. The next morning, Miss Guo gathers the team to announce a new and strategically important "online dating platform" project. She commends Su Yunjin for her "doubts and suggestions" regarding data quality from the previous day and instructs her to submit her proposed solutions to Li Feng.
Miss Guo then challenges Su Yunjin to deliver "modified data" within a week, making it clear she expects both problem identification and resolution. Cheng Zheng confidently assures Miss Guo that Su Yunjin will meet the deadline. Li Feng subsequently assigns the most challenging data collection tasks for this new project to Su Yunjin and Cheng Zheng, noting it's because they initiated the ideas.
Su Yunjin and Cheng Zheng begin their fieldwork by visiting a data collection agency, only to find that many survey forms are filled with identical handwriting and illogical responses, indicating fraudulent data. While there, Cheng Zheng receives a phone call from his mother, who insists he intern at Hengkai, his uncle's company. He firmly refuses, stating his desire to pursue his own design career, and abruptly hangs up.
Meanwhile, Zhang Yue, driven by her ambition to promote Shen Juan, sends a recommendation letter to her father, the chairman, to transfer Manager Su, an experienced employee, back to the headquarters. Manager Su confronts Zhang Yue, feeling unfairly treated and questioning her judgment, especially since his department's recent projects have been successful.
Zhang Yue defends her decision by subtly reminding him that he was reluctant to work for her subsidiary in the first place, implying she is merely returning him to a more preferred position by her father's side. After the confrontation, Shen Juan arrives, and Zhang Yue, expecting praise, tells him her actions were "of course about your position as the manager," confirming her intention to promote him. Shen Juan appears grateful but expresses some unease about his junior status.
News of Cheng Zheng distributing flyers on the street reaches his uncle, Manager Zhang (the chairman), via his secretary, who saw him. Manager Zhang is displeased, and his anger further escalates when Manager Su directly complains about Zhang Yue's unauthorized personnel changes. Manager Zhang views Zhang Yue's actions as a disregard for company policy and vows to address the issue with her directly, assuring Manager Su that his position at the subsidiary is secure for now.
Incensed by the unreliable data, Su Yunjin decides to print her own survey forms, and she and Cheng Zheng start conducting genuine surveys on the street. The agency's representative returns, angrily accusing them of "looting his target audience" and threatening to withhold payment. After a heated argument, the representative gives up and leaves, telling them to do the work themselves. As evening falls and it starts to rain, Su Yunjin, despite having collected barely twenty surveys, wants to continue.
Cheng Zheng urges her to stop, emphasizing the lack of efficiency and the cold weather. He promises to devise a better plan for tomorrow and insists she go home to rest, personally escorting her back to her dorm. They say goodnight, reflecting on their growing bond. Later that evening, Cheng Zheng receives a stern text message from his uncle, demanding his presence at home, but he dismisses it, focusing on his work with Su Yunjin.
The following day, Cheng Zheng surprises Su Yunjin with two mascot costumes, one a computer and the other a robot. He explains his innovative strategy to make the project concept more engaging and easier for the public to understand. He wears the computer costume, and Su Yunjin wears the robot costume, portraying the interactive elements of their online platform, including real-name authentication and user safety. Their charming presentation quickly garners significant attention and positive responses.
Seizing the moment, Cheng Zheng, still in costume, asks Su Yunjin if they can be friends, and then, if she would date him. Su Yunjin, smiling, extends her hand, and they pinky promise, sharing a sweet and meaningful look, reminiscent of their high school days. After their successful day, Cheng Zheng, pleased with the results, hints at even more methods to collect surveys, piquing Su Yunjin's curiosity.
