Synopsis
Surgeon Gu Nian saves drug dealer K, only to find herself trapped in a drug lord’s den. To survive, Gu Nian cleverly strikes a deal with the mysterious K. Through repeated brushes with life and death, the two gradually fall for each other. In order to ensure Gu Nian’s safety, K sacrifices himself in a deadly showdown with drug lord Peng Li, leaving his fate uncertain.
Six months later, Gu Nian encounters a man who looks exactly like K—Song Qian. However, he coldly denies being K, claiming instead to be the general manager of the Wei Corporation and engaged to be married. Caught in a push-and-pull of entanglements with him, Gu Nian eventually leaves in disappointment.
But when Gu Nian falls into danger while investigating the truth behind her mother’s death, the seemingly hostile Song Qian repeatedly comes to her rescue. It is only then that Gu Nian learns of Song Qian’s true identity.
