Hearts in Play is a youth school drama directed by Zhou En'ci, led by Jin Zixuan and Kevin Xiao, co-starring Zhou Tishun, Dai Moye, Tian Jingfan, and Ye Yongxu.
The story follows the table tennis club at Xinde High School. When mixed doubles is added to the competition, star player Xia Fanxing, struggling to find a male partner, meets transfer student Sheng Yang—a former champion who had quit the sport. As they heal and grow together, they join new teammates to face training challenges and the puzzles of youth.

Synopsis
The story revolves around the Ping-Pong Club of Xinde High School. After the new middle school Ping-Pong league introduces a mixed doubles format, star player Xia Fanxing faces difficulties due to the lack of a male partner.
Transfer student Sheng Yang, a former champion of the "National Youth Table Tennis Championships" who had given up the sport, is helped out of his gloom by Xia Fanxing.
As they spend time together, they uncover each other's hidden pains and heal together.
With the addition of members like Luo Qing and Tangtang to the Ping-Pong Club, the group faces training challenges and youthful dilemmas, experiencing personal growth through teamwork.
