Synopsis
Huo Zhongren, the chief clerk of Muxi City, mysteriously disappears within the palace. His daughter, Huo Xiangjiu, disguises herself as a palace maid to search for him, only to discover that Feng Mochen, the emperor’s most powerful and favored minister, is in fact a thousand-year-old fox spirit. By a twist of fate, the two even end up swapping souls.
Meanwhile, bizarre and inexplicable incidents keep occurring within the palace. Are they caused by other supernatural beings, or is there a mortal stirring up trouble?
