On the city streets, traffic was jammed bumper to bumper. Luo Man sat in the car, looking at the long queue of vehicles outside, feeling helpless. Chen Kaixi called Luo Man. Chen Kaixi had specially organized a blind date party for Luo Man. Because Luo Man hadn't arrived yet, Chen Kaixi thought Luo Man wasn't interested in the blind date setup.

However, Luo Man clearly remembered the time was 7:30, while Chen Kaixi told Luo Man the party time was 6:30. Luo Man showed a helpless expression. After hanging up the phone, she recalled her time at school. It was in class, analyzing a novel by Zhang Ailing. Luo Man and Chen Kaixi were classmates and had different opinions. Luo Man publicly contradicted Chen Kaixi, which shows their relationship was quite delicate.

Seeing the traffic completely stuck, Luo Man had no choice but to walk, running towards the party location. While running, she recalled the past. At that time, their relationship seemed very good, but no one expected that at such an important party, Chen Kaixi deliberately gave the wrong time. Luo Man also decided she would definitely not let Chen Kaixi have her way. Chen Kaixi, Zhong Qingcheng, and Zhou Musun were having a pleasant conversation at the banquet.

Suddenly, Luo Man's arrival surprised Chen Kaixi, but she quickly recovered and expressed her welcome to Luo Man. As soon as she arrived, Luo Man took control of the dinner, successfully attracting Zhou Musun's attention. The two quickly found a common topic through food, which piqued Zhou Musun's interest. Going back three days, Luo Man, Chen Kaixi, and Zhong Qingcheng were talking together.

Chen Kaixi suddenly asked Zhong Qingcheng if she was still single and proactively offered to introduce her to a boyfriend, proposing to take Zhong Qingcheng to Zhou Musun's private club for a blind date. Luo Man also wanted to join, using the reason that she had never been to a private club. Chen Kaixi couldn't refuse, but deliberately gave the wrong time. After returning home, Luo Man also specifically researched Zhou Musun's information, mastering everything about his past and hobbies.

This resulted in Luo Man immediately finding common ground with Zhou Musun as soon as they met. Going back to three days prior again, from Zhou Musun's perspective, Chen Kaixi sent him a message wanting to introduce a girlfriend to him. He happened to be playing ball with Chen Kaixi's husband, Chen Mian.

Seeing that Zhou Musun and Luo Man were getting along better than expected, which went against her initial intention, Chen Kaixi deliberately sought another topic to try and redirect Zhou Musun's attention back to Zhong Qingcheng. However, it seemed Zhou Musun was not interested in Zhong Qingcheng. Luo Man felt there must be something fishy about Chen Kaixi being so attentive to a stranger, so she kept trying to disrupt things.

No matter how Chen Kaixi tried to shift Zhou Musun's attention to Zhong Qingcheng, Luo Man always found a way to pull his attention back. Chen Kaixi kept trying to showcase Zhong Qingcheng's beauty to Zhou Musun, unaware that he had already developed a strong interest in Luo Man. Luo Man also handled the situation perfectly. After the banquet ended, Chen Kaixi knew she had completely lost tonight, letting Luo Man gain the upper hand again.

On the way home, Luo Man was secretly gloating, but she kept hiding her inner excitement so others wouldn't notice. Chen Kaixi was also very helpless. After parting ways with Zhong Qingcheng, she immediately blocked Luo Man. At this point, Luo Man still wanted to send a voice message in a victorious manner, but after taking out her phone, she found she had been blocked on WeChat.

Feeling a bit flustered, she called Chen Kaixi, but the other party didn't answer. Chen Kaixi's phone kept ringing after she returned home, all calls from Luo Man. Chen Kaixi initially didn't want to answer, but felt it was awkward to just hang up, so she had to pick up. The two began complaining about each other's faults over the years.

Finally, Chen Kaixi told Luo Man that Zhou Musun was actually a "bottomless pit", with no intention of getting married. He just wanted to rely on his charm to conquer women and show off his superiority, making him a complete scumbag. Luo Man was puzzled. If Zhou Musun was a scumbag, why introduce him to Zhong Qingcheng? Chen Kaixi frankly explained that it was because her own husband, Chen Mian, had been seducing Zhong Qingcheng.

The two women confessed their feelings accumulated over the years. Although they had been frenemies for many years, they had long considered each other their best friend.
