After seeing Han Fei, Wu Jinghao immediately hugged her and didn't stop even when she struggled. Han Fei was surprised by his reaction.
Wu Jinghao quickly told her that he had figured everything out and apologized for taking so long. As he was about to wipe away her tears, Han Fei told him that she was happy he finally understood, and that she no longer had feelings for him.
Before leaving, Han Fei hugged Wu Jinghao and told him that they didn't owe each other anything. Wu Jinghao went home feeling sad and sat alone in his room, staring at a talisman and trying to convince himself to be content with the present.
During the day, Wu Jinghao and Lin Ling sat on the beach for eight hours until they met Zhang Wenwen. Lin Ling helped her take photos and they all had dinner together. Lin Ling learned that Zhang Wenwen had a difficult past.
Later, Wu Jinghao and Lin Ling were lying on the beach when they saw Zhang Wenwen's house catch fire. Wu Jinghao rushed into the flames to save her, and they ended up together. The next day, Lin Ling and Zhang Wenwen said goodbye to Wu Jinghao.
On the other side, Han Fei went to the seafood market alone to buy fresh shrimp. She happened to meet her classmate Yang Liangliang, whose mother urged her to quickly weigh the goods for the customers. Yang Liangliang asked Han Fei to keep it a secret.
While Wu Jinghao and his dormmates were cleaning, someone advised him to pursue Han Fei. Wu Jinghao became depressed upon hearing this.
Soon, Lin Ling was called to the office to discuss his plan to study abroad. His mother was there and signed his notebook pretending to be him. Lin Ling refused and expressed his determination to study medicine and do meaningful things, despite his mother's persuasion.
Later, Han Fei went to the professor's office to ask for a recommendation letter for her study abroad. Wu Jinghao, who was nearby, also learned about her plan. The professor noticed his hesitation and advised him to solve his relationship problems.
While Yang Liangliang was busy in the restroom, she overheard other classmates talking behind her back and learned about her seafood selling at the market.
On the other side, Wu Jinghao kept following Han Fei and she kept rejecting him. After returning to his room, Wu Jinghao found the letter in his safe and learned about Han Fei's repeated rejections due to fear of another accident.
After going out, Yang Liangliang was also talked about behind her back. Wu Jinghao helped her and Han Fei happened to pass by. She did not want to accept him, and Yang Liangliang tried to get closer to Wu Jinghao but was rejected.
