Bai Yue Guang Zheng Jiu Ji Hua Recap

Episode 1 Recap

Ming Ya pulled Beisu along, and Beisu wanted to get closer, addressing Ming Ya as "Your Highness." However, Ming Ya insisted that Beisu call her by her name. The system emitted a sound, indicating that erroneous data was being fixed. Ming Ya pushed Beisu away, leaving him puzzled. Ming Ya explained it was because Beisu was incorrect data.

Unexpectedly, the data deletion failed, and Ming Ya returned to the system space again. The artificial intelligence stated that if the failure persisted, Lingjing's data would overwrite the original data. Ming Ya's current mission was to save Beisu. She mentioned that previously, it was the artificial intelligence that had instructed her to delete Beisu. The AI explained that its system had also been infiltrated, urging Ming Ya to resolve the issue quickly so she could return to the real world.

Ming Ya arrived in World 002 and, upon opening her eyes, found herself being restrained. The Crown Prince stated that Ming Ya, the adopted daughter of the Princess Royal Manor, had a tarnished appearance and questionable conduct. Therefore, the marriage contract was annulled, and Emperor, in his mercy, bestowed upon Ming Ya a marriage to Libei Lord, Beisu.

The Crown Prince asked if Ming Ya would still refuse to cooperate with him. Ming Ya was bewildered. The Crown Prince ordered his men to take Ming Ya back, forbidding her from leaving before the grand wedding. Back in her room, Ming Ya asked the artificial intelligence where to find Beisu. The AI mentioned a fateful encounter between her and Beisu, and helping him here would grant Ming Ya fragments of this world.

Episode 2 Recap

Beisu entered from the window and suddenly fainted. Ming Ya helped Beisu onto the bed. When Beisu woke up, he grabbed Ming Ya's neck and asked how she knew his name. Ming Ya mentioned that she also knew his height, weight, and birth details.

There were people outside looking for an assassin. Ming Ya told Beisu to lie on the bed. She opened the door, introducing him as her husband and suggesting they share a drink for merriment. The search party didn't suspect anything and left. Beisu asked if Ming Ya was truly the one from the Princess Royal Manor, and she affirmed it.

Beisu said he doesn't owe anyone favors and gave Ming Ya a bracelet, telling her to visit the mansion if she needed anything. Ming Ya declined, saying she had urgent matters and nowhere to go, hoping Beisu could take her in.

Beisu brought Ming Ya to the mansion, asking if she could serve. Ming Ya peeled an orange for Beisu, who was surprised that he could now taste flavors. Beisu called someone to examine the scars on Ming Ya's face, and they explained it was due to poisoning.

Beisu asked Ming Ya to step out. His subordinate mentioned that the life-stealing gu (a type of poison) was on Ming Ya, and Beisu had a chance of recovery. Beisu then understood why he could taste flavors when Ming Ya was around. The Crown Prince summoned Ming Ya.

Episode 3 Recap

The Crown Prince stated that both Ming Ya and Beisu were poisoned with the life-stealing gu, emphasizing that if anything happened to Beisu, it would also affect Ming Ya. The Crown Prince claimed that Ming Ya didn't know what kind of person Beisu was. Beisu had a cruel nature, and when he wanted to kill someone, he would give a servant girl a small wooden box. The servant girl would be tortured to death, and her mementos would be placed in the box.

The Crown Prince argued that allowing Beisu to continue in this manner was unacceptable. Ming Ya pointed out that they both had the life-stealing gu, and if Beisu died, she would die too. The Crown Prince claimed to have obtained the antidote. If Ming Ya helped him resolve the issue with Beisu, he would provide her with the antidote to ensure her survival.

Ignoring the Crown Prince, Ming Ya walked away, and Beisu observed the situation. Ming Ya felt uneasy, and the artificial intelligence indicated that the poison in Ming Ya was becoming more severe, requiring an immediate antidote. Just as Ming Ya and Beisu were about to clarify the situation, a maid rushed in, announcing the arrival of the Crown Prince, who halted the Lord.

The Crown Prince ordered Beisu to kneel, stating that since he and Ming Ya were to be married, they should go on a city tour, allowing everyone to see what Ming Ya looked like. Ming Ya approached, and the Crown Prince said Beisu could leave once he lifted the veil. Beisu hesitated, and the Crown Prince urged him to quickly lift the veil. Ming Ya took Beisu's hand, encouraging him to unveil her face.

Episode 4 Recap

Ming Ya's veil was lifted, revealing her face. The Crown Prince was astonished to find that Ming Ya's face had miraculously healed. Ming Ya asserted that their agreement was still valid. The Crown Prince instructed Ming Ya and Beisu to quickly go out and stroll through the streets.

After Ming Ya and Beisu returned, they sat in the room, both feeling extremely awkward, unsure of what to say. Ming Ya took out a hidden knife from under the pillow and stabbed Beisu, expressing her continued desire for his life. She mentioned that the Crown Prince could come in, and he entered happily.

The Crown Prince obtained the posthumous edict from the box, stating that Beisu could no longer use it to ascend to the throne. Ming Ya suggested that the Crown Prince should give her the antidote, but he claimed not to have it. The Crown Prince mentioned that every year during Qingming, he would burn more paper for Ming Ya and Beisu.

Beisu said that the Crown Prince need not bother, revealing that when Beisu told Ming Ya about the fusion of the Yin-Yang gu, Ming Ya's appearance would be restored. Beisu kissed Ming Ya, and indeed, her face healed. The Crown Prince discovered that the posthumous edict in his hand was fake, becoming very angry.

The Crown Prince took out a knife, intending to stab Beisu. The artificial intelligence intervened, stating an urgent mission to protect the safety of the key characters, pushing Ming Ya in the way to block the strike. Ming Ya returned to the mission world, feeling very frustrated.

Episode 5 Recap

The artificial intelligence stated that this world had not yet concluded, and Ming Ya returned to it once again, seeing Beisu staring at her own corpse. Ming Ya found a fragment here, and the AI mentioned that Ming Ya had completed the mission in this world, thus collecting this particular fragment.

Ming Ya recalled some past events with Beisu, feeling strange and wondering what had happened before. She couldn't remember anything, and the artificial intelligence admitted it wasn't clear either, as the storyline had only been restored to 30%. The AI explained that once Ming Ya collected five fragments, the system could be repaired, and the real Beisu in the physical world could wake up.

Ming Ya asked if Beisu was in a coma, but the AI didn't know. Ming Ya entered World 003, this time becoming the Crown Prince's consort. Ming Ya felt frustrated, not even having changed her veil from before. The AI stated that Ming Ya needed to make the Crown Prince's affection for her reach 100, and then she could obtain this fragment.

Beisu approached, saying it was impossible for him to like Ming Ya. He instructed Ming Ya to behave as a low-ranking maidservant in the mansion. Ming Ya was confident that she could win over Beisu. She asked a maid what type Beisu liked—whether he preferred innocent girls or mature ones. The maid didn't understand, not knowing what Ming Ya was talking about.

Episode 6 Recap

Ming Ya inquired about Beisu's background. Beisu's father died in a battle with an enemy nation, and seeking revenge, Beisu killed the enemy general and his son. He also captured the general's daughter. Ming Ya was surprised to learn that Beisu enjoyed forced love. When she approached Beisu, her attempts to engage him backfired, as her disheveled hairstyle decreased his affection instead.

Thinking it needed more drama, Ming Ya tried to seduce Beisu, but his maids and attendants were present, irritating Beisu and causing his affection to drop further. Ming Ya was frustrated, unable to fathom why her affection points were diminishing even with her dramatic efforts.

A woman approached Ming Ya, claiming to be Beisu's cousin and the future Crown Princess. Ming Ya thought she might have insights into Beisu's preferences and asked what kind of women he liked. However, Beisu's cousin refused to disclose any information. Ming Ya brandished a knife, causing Beisu's cousin to feign fear. She mentioned that Beisu had a recurring dream where a woman sacrificed herself to save him.

Beisu had the same dream again, and his attendants suggested investigating it since Beisu suspected he and Ming Ya were each other's fathers' enemies, which might explain their mutual animosity.

Ming Ya, opting for a more dramatic approach, approached Beisu, stating she would return to the borderlands to find the person she sought. That person had promised to find her in their next life.

Episode 7 Recap

Beisu was extremely surprised, not expecting it to be Ming Ya. Beisu and Ming Ya drank together, and Beisu kissed Ming Ya, causing his affection for her to rise significantly. They consumed a considerable amount of alcohol, and as Ming Ya got drunk, she recalled past events, criticizing the scoundrel who, despite having a girlfriend, had approached her.

Earlier, Ming Ya had prepared a box of chocolates for Beisu, intending to give it to him. However, she overheard Beisu talking to another girl and discovered that he already had a girlfriend. Ming Ya messaged Beisu, claiming there were some issues at school, so she needed to return early and withdraw from the project.

Beisu's cousin, who insisted she was the Crown Princess, approached Ming Ya, asserting that she could never like Ming Ya. They were enemies, but Ming Ya explained that Beisu understood the reason she joined the battlefield—to protect, not to kill. Beisu heard this and asked his cousin to leave, stating that Ming Ya was the most important person to him.

Ming Ya obtained the fragment, and Beisu recalled a previous disagreement with Dr. Li. Dr. Li believed that it was because of guardians like Beisu that the Lingjing world was deteriorating. Beisu disagreed, asserting that Dr. Li would not succeed.

Someone invaded the Lingjing world, and Beisu's cousin returned, revealing that she was actually Dr. Li.

Episode 8 Recap

Dr. Li stated that Beisu and the others would eventually understand that he was the one who was right. Ming Ya fainted, now in a data protection state. However, if this state persisted for too long, Ming Ya would not wake up. Beisu placed the fragment in Ming Ya's hand, kissed her, and urged her to live on.

When Ming Ya opened her eyes again, she found herself in World 004. She was surprised, considering she thought she had just died. She questioned the artificial intelligence about what needed to be done in this world, but there was no response. Beisu was also there, having fainted, which astonished Ming Ya.

The attendants examined Beisu, stating that while he was seriously injured, proper rest would lead to recovery. Ming Ya inquired about the one who had harmed Beisu, and the attendants claimed it was General Annan. Ming Ya, acting as the Regent Princess, collaborated with the Crown Prince to suppress a rebellion. Both families involved were executed, but Ming Ya spared Beisu due to his good looks and brought him back to the mansion.

Ming Ya was astonished, realizing she was now in this unexpected role, taking care of Beisu. The next day, when Beisu woke up, he couldn't speak due to the trauma. Ming Ya reassured him that she had genuinely come to save him.

Episode 9 Recap

Beisu helped Ming Ya comb her hair, and during the conversation, Ming Ya mentioned things from the real world. She recalled seeing Beisu a long time ago when she was a freshman. At that time, Beisu was helping his roommate move luggage. Ming Ya wanted to look at Beisu but felt embarrassed, so she used a book to cover her face and sneakily glanced at him. Beisu shook his head, indicating he didn't know about these things.

An attendant informed Ming Ya that the Prime Minister was coming, and she quickly pushed Beisu away, saying the service had reached this point. She asked the attendant to take her out for a couple of days. The Prime Minister suggested that if a servant wasn't useful, they should be killed. Ming Ya argued that despite being disobedient, Beisu was good-looking and should be kept.

The Prime Minister didn't say much but mentioned that disobedient servants needed a bit of discipline. He took out a sword and stabbed Beisu. After the Prime Minister left, Ming Ya rushed to the backyard to assist Beisu. The attendant mentioned that the Prime Minister's people were still around and witnessed the scene.

When Beisu woke up, he wrote a message in Ming Ya's hand, asking her not to interfere. Beisu then knocked Ming Ya unconscious, went outside, and brought back a corpse. The Prime Minister and his men arrived, claiming Beisu had killed someone and needed to be captured. Ming Ya and her people also arrived, blocking the Prime Minister's way.

Episode 10 Recap

Ming Ya asked the Prime Minister how he knew that it was Bei Su who killed the person. Ming Ya explained that she had asked Bei Su to come and help her buy pastries, and when Bei Su came out, he heard some commotion and rushed over only to find the person already dead. The Prime Minister said that this was just Bei Su's side of the story.

Ming Ya pointed out that although a person can lie, a corpse cannot. It had rained early in the morning, but the ground beneath the body was still dry, indicating that the person had died before the rain, and it couldn't have been Bei Su who killed them. With this evidence, the Prime Minister had nothing more to say, and Ming Ya took Bei Su away.

In Ming Ya's palm, Bei Su wrote a note, saying he wanted to return to the place he had been earlier. Ming Ya wondered why Bei Su hadn't mentioned it earlier, and they both went back. At this location, Bei Su found a piece of paper with the name of an inn written on it. Ming Ya and Bei Su arrived at the inn, with the Prime Minister's people tailing them and watching as they entered the inn.

Inside, they met the daughter of Bei Su's father's deputy general, who explained that Bei Su had been injured before, and Ming Ya had saved him. The woman produced evidence that the Prime Minister had falsely accused them of plotting rebellion and said that if Bei Su believed in Ming Ya, she would too and hoped that Ming Ya could help clear their names. Ming Ya agreed.

When the Prime Minister saw Ming Ya leaving, he brought his men in to search the place, but to his surprise, Ming Ya was still there, and she remarked that the Prime Minister dared to investigate her.

Episode 11 Recap

The Prime Minister was very surprised; he had clearly seen Ming Ya leave, but she was still here. It turned out that Ming Ya had the young lady put on her clothes and pretend to be her when she went out. Ming Ya said that she had made arrangements for someone to escort her out of the city and take good care of her.

After the young lady left, Ming Ya and Bei Su had to stay here to cover for her. Ming Ya wanted to take off Bei Su's clothes, saying that it would make the deception more convincing. Bei Su took off his clothes, and Ming Ya kissed him on the neck, and Bei Su kissed her passionately.

Ming Ya berated the Prime Minister, gave him a few slaps, and said that he dared to suspect her. The Prime Minister couldn't say anything and had to endure being hit. After the Prime Minister left, Ming Ya explained that what they did was just a temporary measure, and Bei Su shouldn't read too much into it.

The Prime Minister came with his men to arrest Bei Su, saying that the Emperor had been poisoned, and he had eaten pastries from the Guangde Inn. The people at the Guangde Inn were former subordinates of General Annan, seeking revenge. Ming Ya didn't think this proved Bei Su's guilt, but Bei Su admitted to it, and the Prime Minister had him taken away.

Ming Ya wanted to talk to Doctor Li, knowing that he could hear her. Doctor Li came out and said that these people were not just data; they should open the door together. Ming Ya asked what the door was, but Doctor Li didn't answer and simply walked away.

Episode 12 Recap

Ming Ya gave the Prime Minister a beating and asked Bei Su if he wanted to personally kill the Prime Minister for revenge. Bei Su said there was no need; he believed in the law to provide him justice.

The Prime Minister left first, and Ming Ya hugged Bei Su, feeling that she had not taught him in vain. Bei Su said that Ming Ya had taught him a version of Sun Tzu's Art of War, and Ming Ya thought that was teaching too. Bei Su mentioned that he had learned Sun Tzu's Art of War when he was ten, and Ming Ya quipped that it wasn't much of a lonely lesson then.

Artificial intelligence appeared, announcing that the update was complete. Ming Ya returned to her task space and reprimanded the AI for updating without warning. She showed the AI a fragment, indicating that she had completed the mission in this world.

The AI informed Ming Ya that the new world was ready and asked if she wanted to enter now. Ming Ya said she wanted to bid farewell to Bei Su first. She met Bei Su again and asked him to remember her. The AI also arrived, saying that Bei Su was now conscious. Bei Su called the AI "Wen Qi" and asked Ming Ya how she had come. He told Ming Ya to return quickly.

Ming Ya asked Bei Su if he wanted to handle things on his own. Bei Su asked Ming Ya why she left the project team, and she replied it was because Bei Su had a girlfriend. Bei Su was very surprised and said he didn't have a girlfriend.

Ming Ya returned to the task world, feeling frustrated because she hadn't quite heard what Bei Su had said.

Episode 13 Recap

Ming Ya remembered that she had heard Bei Su's girlfriend being called Wen Qi and asked the artificial intelligence what was going on. The AI quickly sent Ming Ya to a new world. Ming Ya was quite frustrated but had no choice.

This time, Ming Ya was a famous detective in the capital, and the Princess Consort had been murdered. She needed to investigate the case thoroughly. Additionally, Ming Ya had a task this time, which was to cure Bei Su's condition of vomiting when he touched people.

Ming Ya's superior came over, and she asked him where Bei Su was. He mentioned that Bei Su had a tough life, losing all his family members, and advised Ming Ya not to get too close to him. It turned out that Bei Su had become a coroner this time.

Ming Ya and Bei Su went out, and she noted that the Princess Consort had died about one and a half hours ago. She deduced this from the fact that the incense in her room was changed every two hours, and the incense had burned for approximately half an hour, with the bottom part being an incense with a hypnotic scent.

Ming Ya also noticed that there were no signs of forced entry or damage to the lock, and the maids found the Princess Consort dead inside, making it a locked-room murder case. Bei Su mentioned that the pastries the Princess Consort had eaten were a specialty of the Guangde Inn, so Ming Ya took Bei Su with her to investigate there.

While they were at the inn, someone entered, and Ming Ya and Bei Su hid in a cabinet. Bei Su had a severe bout of vomiting when he came out. He noted that the person who had entered was wearing clothes from the Crown Prince's residence, but there was no evidence linking it to the Crown Prince. After returning, Bei Su bought Ming Ya a string of candied haws.

Episode 14 Recap

Ming Ya met the artificial intelligence and noticed that it had changed its clothes. She said she had figured out what happened in the locked room and intended to interrogate the maids and guards when they returned.

The guards explained that there were originally two of them, but later a third person joined them. One of the guards mentioned that he was outside at the time and had come in later.

Ming Ya questioned the two maids. One of them said that they found the door locked from the outside, and when they entered, they found the Princess Consort lying on the ground. Later, one of them went to call for help. Ming Ya asked how they knew it was the Princess Consort, and the maid said that she was wearing the Princess Consort's clothes, and the other maid confirmed it was the Princess Consort.

Ming Ya pointed out that it was the other maid who had guided her companion to call for help, and the person who had fallen wasn't the Princess Consort but their accomplice. After killing the Princess Consort, who had been drugged, they had the accomplice change into her clothes. Then, in front of the two maids, the accomplice pretended to collapse. After one of the maids went to call for help, they moved the Princess Consort's body, and the accomplice, who was the third guard, took off the clothes and left, pretending to have just arrived.

Ming Ya asked why they did this, and the maid said it was because the Princess Consort wouldn't let them get married. Ming Ya pointed out that by killing the Princess Consort, they couldn't possibly get married. She ordered the guards to detain them and see if they would continue with their nonsense once they were in jail.

Episode 15 Recap

Ming Ya thought that to cure Bei Su's condition of avoiding contact with others, desensitization therapy might work, which involved gradually increasing their contact. She held Bei Su's hand and noticed that he didn't vomit. Ming Ya believed they could try hugging, and although Bei Su hesitated, Ming Ya assured him they were friends, so it was okay.

Bei Su and Ming Ya hugged, and Ming Ya found that Bei Su still didn't vomit. She suggested they go further and Bei Su asked what was beyond that. Ming Ya explained that it meant becoming even closer than friends. Bei Su asked if Ming Ya didn't mind, and she said she had wanted to do this for a long time. Ming Ya attempted to kiss Bei Su, but he moved away to vomit, leaving Ming Ya quite exasperated.

Ming Ya called the artificial intelligence and was told that it was a higher-level world where it couldn't provide any assistance. Ming Ya asked the AI to compare the face of Dr. Li with the face of the Crown Prince in this world, confirming that Dr. Li was indeed the Crown Prince here.

Bei Su approached Ming Ya and said he had found some clues. He showed Ming Ya a piece of paper with a drawing of a pattern, explaining that both individuals had a tattoo that only appeared when wet. Ming Ya asked Bei Su if he wasn't afraid of going against the Crown Prince in this world and what motivated him to do these things.

Episode 16 Recap

Bei Su explained that he was doing this for justice. He took Ming Ya to meet a tattoo artist, and she felt something was amiss because there was no one around. Ming Ya tried to leave with Bei Su, but suddenly, they were attacked and knocked out by a group of men in black. When Ming Ya and Bei Su woke up, they found themselves tied up, and Bei Su acknowledged that they had fallen into a trap. Ming Ya noticed some broken pieces of bowls nearby, which she used to cut their bindings.

Ming Ya discovered that Bei Su could now touch things without vomiting, and she successfully obtained the data fragment. Dr. Li arrived and wanted to take the data fragment, but Bei Su refused. Ming Ya returned to the task world and asked the artificial intelligence if it was the gatekeeper, but the AI didn't know.

In the new world, Ming Ya became a chef, and her task was to cure Bei Su's anorexia. None of the other chefs had succeeded in getting Bei Su to eat, but Bei Su said it was now up to Ming Ya, whom he referred to as a famous chef. Ming Ya corrected him, saying she might be surnamed Ming, but she was not famous. Bei Su urged Ming Ya to hurry up and prepare a meal, and she asked if she could have a little more time.

Bei Su approached Ming Ya and granted her some extra time. After he left, Ming Ya thought Bei Su was a man without boundaries. She prepared a meal, but Bei Su still had no appetite. Ming Ya commented that it sounded as if anyone could make him eat as if he were picky about his food.

Episode 17 Recap

The attendant reported that Ming Ya had caused another kitchen mishap and asked Bei Su if he wanted to replace her. Bei Su said it wasn't necessary and instructed the attendant to inform Zhang Jie that there was no need to find another chef for him. Ming Ya asked the attendant what Bei Su wanted to eat, and the attendant replied that Bei Su said anything would do. Ming Ya was quite frustrated, as she hated it when the other party said "anything."

Ming Ya brought some cucumbers and lettuce, naming the dish "Anything." Bei Su asked if Ming Ya was trying to fool him with these ingredients. Ming Ya explained that it was Bei Su who said "anything," so she could only use the existing kitchen ingredients to prepare something. If Bei Su had other preferences, he needed to make them clear. Ming Ya added that she wasn't a mind-reader and couldn't know what Bei Su was thinking.

Ming Ya left, and Bei Su came to find her, admitting he was wrong earlier. Ming Ya forgave him. She asked when Bei Su started refusing to eat, and he mentioned it began when he became the Crown Prince. Ming Ya speculated that the pressure of being the Crown Prince might have led to depression.

Ming Ya brought Bei Su to the garden, encouraging him to rest, eat well, and engage in some recreational activities, as depression could be treated. She sang a song for Bei Su, who found it oddly familiar, as if he had heard it before.

Episode 18 Recap

Ming Ya brought Bei Su to the kitchen and asked him to prepare a meal by himself. The kitchen was getting smoky, and Ming Ya quickly ran out. Bei Su noted that this was the "stir-fry" Ming Ya had taught him. He made a fried rice dish, and Ming Ya was surprised that it looked quite good. She hadn't expected Bei Su to actually learn. Bei Su claimed it wasn't that difficult, and Ming Ya felt he was mocking her.

Bei Su offered Ming Ya a bite, and she found it quite delicious. Bei Su said the dish was unique, the kind that could set the kitchen on fire. He asked if she wanted more, but Ming Ya declined, feeling full from her anger, thinking Bei Su was still mocking her. However, when Bei Su scooped a spoonful and offered it to her, Ming Ya couldn't resist. Bei Su pointed out that she really wanted to eat. Ming Ya said there was only one spoon, and Bei Su assured her he didn't mind sharing. They started eating together.

The Princess Consort called Ming Ya and expressed her displeasure, stating that she had asked Ming Ya to cook for Bei Su, not to indulge in idle pastimes and poison him with alcohol. Ming Ya defended herself, explaining that Bei Su's reluctance to eat was because of the others, who had not dined with him for a long time and usually criticized him when they did.

Bei Su, realizing that Ming Ya had been summoned by the Princess Consort, rushed to prevent any harm to her. In the end, Ming Ya had only consumed ordinary alcohol, and Bei Su brought her back.

Episode 19 Recap

Bei Su mentioned that he understood his older sister and how she used to destroy whatever he liked during their childhood. He asked Ming Ya what his older sister had told her. Ming Ya explained the events from before, including when the Princess Consort had wanted her to leave Bei Su, but Ming Ya had refused. The artificial intelligence system pointed out that going against the plot could lead to problems, but Ming Ya stated that she didn't want to leave Bei Su. Even though everyone was different in Lingjing, they were all part of Bei Su's world.

Bei Su cooked a meal, and Ming Ya was impressed by his skills. Bei Su attributed it to the recipes Ming Ya had written. Ming Ya suggested inviting the Lord and others to taste Bei Su's cooking, but Bei Su worried that they might criticize him for indulging in idle pastimes. Ming Ya believed she had helped Bei Su overcome his issues, and Bei Su wanted to reward her.

Bei Su approached Ming Ya and asked what kind of reward she desired. Ming Ya was momentarily at a loss for words. Bei Su then kissed her and asked if she would marry him. Ming Ya agreed.

The next day, Ming Ya continued writing recipes for Bei Su. Bei Su played the song she had sung before and thought it must be about someone significant to Ming Ya. Every time Ming Ya looked at him, she was actually looking at that person. Ming Ya was unsure what to say.

Ming Ya left a letter for Bei Su along with the recipes, urging him to eat well, no matter what happened.

Episode 20 (Ending) Recap

Ming Ya obtained the data fragment, and suddenly Bei Su approached, asking her to give him the data fragment and stay with him forever. Ming Ya told him that he was not Bei Su but Dr. Li. The fragment fell to the ground, and Bei Su picked it up.

Dr. Li took Ming Ya hostage, demanding that Bei Su give him the fragment so that Ming Ya could be with Bei Su forever. Ming Ya told Bei Su not to listen to Dr. Li, who was an artificial intelligence trying to destroy their world. Bei Su dismissed Dr. Li's concerns and placed the data fragment on him, effectively deleting Dr. Li.

Ming Ya returned to the task world, where the problematic data had been fixed, and she could now return to the real world. She asked Wan Qi if she wanted to go back, but Wan Qi explained that she was just data and couldn't return. Ming Ya then realized that the day she found out she could communicate with Wan Qi was the day Bei Su decided to become the guardian.

Ming Ya and Bei Su returned to the real world, and Bei Su admitted that he had figured out his feelings and now knew he loved Ming Ya. Ming Ya pulled Bei Su closer and told him to think it over. Bei Su stated that to him, Ming Ya was like the 1 and 0 in binary code, and Ming Ya jokingly told him to speak in human language. Bei Su simply hugged Ming Ya and kissed her.
