After the eventful night, Wei Qing brought Zhou Shi to his home, assuring her that he would never bully her again. He then contacted Lin Feifei, informing her that Zhou Shi was emotionally stabilizing and advised them not to visit, fearing it might cause further distress. Meanwhile, at their apartment, Lin Feifei expressed her frustration over the day's chaos, blaming Li Ming Cheng.

Bi Qiu Jing defended him, arguing he had the right to pursue his feelings and was unaware of Zhou Shi's long-standing affection. She also confessed her own aversion to romantic entanglements, finding them troublesome. Lin Feifei, however, insisted that Bi Qiu Jing and Li Ming Cheng were a good match due to their similar intellectual natures and playfully urged them to become a couple.

Overwhelmed, Bi Qiu Jing tried to shift the focus back to comforting Zhou Shi, but Feifei pointed out that she had effectively "stolen" the man Zhou Shi admired for over a decade. Lin Feifei impulsively suggested she could try to make Li Ming Cheng like Zhou Shi, but Ning Fei dismissed the idea as impossible. He reassured a worried Bi Qiu Jing that Zhou Shi wouldn't hold a grudge, though Qiu Jing still felt a strong need to make amends.

After some persuasion from Feifei, she reluctantly texted Li Ming Cheng to let him know Zhou Shi was safe. Later that night, Zhou Shi, unable to sleep, asked Wei Qing to talk. She revealed that her affection for Li Ming Cheng stemmed from an incident during her middle school years when they were trapped in a power-outage elevator. While Zhou Shi was terrified, Li Ming Cheng calmly used a flashlight to do his homework and even tutored her.

His help led her to score her first-ever perfect 100 on an exam the next day. Though she accidentally ruined the test paper before she could show him, she had been captivated ever since, seeing him as her idol. She confessed that she had chosen Guang Hua Vision University to follow in his footsteps, hoping to one day tell him that the frightened girl from the elevator had grown up and wished to be with him.

However, all three of her attempts at confessing had failed, leading her to believe she was too foolish to be worthy of him. Wei Qing listened to her story and questioned if her long-held feelings truly constituted love. After a moment's hesitation, Zhou Shi insisted that they did, passionately defending her devotion. At the same time, Bi Qiu Jing also lay sleepless, her mind replaying Li Ming Cheng's confession and her friends' advice.

She sought guidance from an online friend, explaining that while she didn't dislike the person who confessed, she didn't like him either, finding him boring. Her friend suggested that perhaps only "fun people and things" could truly capture her interest and claimed to understand her dilemma, a conclusion Bi Qiu Jing herself found perplexing. The next morning, Zhou Shi was moved when Wei Qing gently helped her put on her shoes.

He then produced the confession letter she had written for Li Ming Cheng, which a cleaner had accidentally thrown away but he had retrieved. Despite Zhou Shi's initial chiding for his delay in returning it, Wei Qing urged her to make one final, formal confession to Li Ming Cheng. He argued that after more than a decade of unrequited affection, she deserved closure and a chance to give her childhood crush a proper farewell.

Moved, Zhou Shi took the letter and rushed off. She found Li Ming Cheng and, holding out a symbolic test paper, declared her fifteen years of love and asked him to be her boyfriend. Li Ming Cheng gently reaffirmed that he had always viewed her as a younger sister and would continue to protect her like an elder brother, revealing his deep affection for Bi Qiu Jing.

Understanding, Zhou Shi asked for a hug, thanking him for the fifteen years of hope he had given her. She wished him success in pursuing Bi Qiu Jing, though she teased that he wasn't her type because he was "too foolish." As Zhou Shi walked away, she opened the letter and saw Wei Qing's annotations, confirming he had read it.

With a surge of mixed emotions, she tore the letter into pieces, scattering them into the air, and cried out, "Brother Ming Cheng, I don't want you anymore!" finally bidding farewell to her childhood and her long-held crush. That evening, Zhou Shi returned home to a delightful surprise: her apartment was filled with artificial snowflakes. Lin Feifei revealed it was Bi Qiu Jing's idea, and Bi Qiu Jing sincerely apologized for the previous day's incident.

Zhou Shi tearfully embraced her, reassuring her that their friendship remained strong. Lin Feifei and Ning Fei joined their embrace, creating a warm, touching moment. When Zhou Shi wondered how the snow was made, Bi Qiu Jing enthusiastically explained it was a simple chemical reaction. Lin Feifei then suggested Bi Qiu Jing treat them to dinner, but Ning Fei interjected, insisting he would pay as he was holding his art exhibition the next day.

This unexpected announcement stunned Bi Qiu Jing, who exclaimed, "You're Xun Ran!" Ning Fei apologized for keeping his identity as the genius artist a secret. Lin Feifei quickly forgave him, while Bi Qiu Jing jokingly took photos, remarking she was capturing "Xun Ran's future old home" to auction off later. Later, Zhou Shi visited Wei Qing to discuss her confession.

She acknowledged her painful unrequited love for Li Ming Cheng had ended, thanking Wei Qing for his encouragement, which helped her move on. She admitted she had long known about Li Ming Cheng's feelings for Bi Qiu Jing but had been deceiving herself. Zhou Shi then presented Wei Qing with a sum of money, her first salary payment towards repaying him for settling her father's gambling debts. Wei Qing accepted.

When Zhou Shi asked if he would attend Xun Ran's art exhibition, he replied that he had arranged for Wei An to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony in his stead. That evening, Ning Fei surprised Zhou Shi with a birthday present: a legally binding authorization granting her full ownership of all his future paintings as Xun Ran.

Overwhelmed by the valuable gift, Zhou Shi tearfully accepted after Ning Fei insisted he would stop painting if she refused, exclaiming she was the luckiest fan in the world. The day of Xun Ran's exhibition drew a large crowd. Xue Zi arrived later, preferring to avoid the rush. When introduced to Ning Fei, both felt an immediate sense of familiarity, though Xue Zi denied having met him before.

Ning Fei was intrigued when Zhou Shi mentioned that Xue Zi had been the one to spot the hidden "Ran" character in his paintings. When Ning Fei directly asked if she knew Ning Ran, Xue Zi unequivocally responded "no" before excusing herself. Despite her denial, Ning Fei felt an undeniable connection as he watched her leave.

Unbeknownst to him, Xue Zi was indeed Ning Ran, his long-lost "brother" from the orphanage, who had cut her hair and presented as a boy to improve her chances of adoption. Xue Zi had recognized Ning Fei instantly but chose to hide her identity. Shortly after, she was overheard on the phone instructing someone to continue acquiring shares in Yun Ma Artwork. Meanwhile, Zhang Shuai prepared for the Yun Ma design competition and asked Zhou Shi to model for him.

Zhang Ran Yu had persuaded him, arguing that winning would allow him to sign with Yun Ma, work under Wei Qing, and find opportunities to expose Wei Qing's weaknesses while protecting Zhou Shi. During the sketching session, Zhou Shi’s opinion of Wei Qing had improved, and she acknowledged his professional expertise. As she tired and fell asleep, Zhang Shuai leaned in to kiss her, but Wei Qing arrived and intervened.

He angrily accused Zhang Shuai of preying on a sleeping girl, contrasting it with his own "upfront" actions. Wei Qing then gently carried the sleeping Zhou Shi out, sternly warning Zhang Shuai to find a new model and never let it happen again. Enraged, Zhang Shuai ripped up the portrait of Zhou Shi. After leaving the studio, Zhou Shi woke up in Wei Qing's car.

He explained that her problem was resolved, and now it was time to address his own—his illness. He brought her to meet his psychologist, Dr. Chen. Zhou Shi asked if psychologists enjoy observing people, and Dr. Chen replied that she was particularly interested in observing the girl who had "conquered" Wei Qing. Zhou Shi quickly clarified they were just friends.

Dr. Chen explained that the therapy would require physical contact, which Zhou Shi agreed to as long as it wasn't excessive. Dr. Chen expressed her hope that someone Wei Qing truly trusted could finally help him break his "physical curse."
