After being discharged from the hospital, Shi Yue was kicked out by her landlord. She wandered around with her luggage, nowhere to go. Shi Yue went to Shen An'an's house again, reminiscing about the good times they had together. She realized that Shen An'an was the one who truly treated her well and felt guilty for her past behavior. Not wanting to disturb Shen An'an, she quietly left, preparing to go back overseas and start anew.
Ren Fei, who was in the late stage of pregnancy, experienced bleeding. Wen Hao thought the baby was coming and hurriedly called Shen An'an. They rushed to the hospital only to find out it was a false alarm. Liang Yuan told Shen An'an that they decided to include a live broadcasting segment during the program event. In this segment, Shen An'an would share her experiences with everyone and invite the live audience to participate. They would compile videos sent by the audience related to the theme "Only Once in Life" to encourage more people.
Lin Yao shared his story with Shen An'an and occasionally sent her gifts and postcards. Shen An'an felt a sense of happiness as she looked at what Lin Yao shared. Ren Yiming had just returned from abroad and brought a bouquet of flowers to Shen An'an's workplace. At night, Ren Yiming told stories to put Ren Xinyi to sleep, and Shen An'an received a message from Lin Yao. Shen An'an was extremely happy and asked when he would be back because she missed him. She also had an answer to his question in her heart. Lin Yao joyfully looked at the message sent by Shen An'an but suddenly lost signal on his phone. He anxiously searched while walking but didn't notice a motorcycle speeding towards him from behind. Lin Yao was knocked down and fainted on the ground.
Before the start of the program, a recording session took place where Liang Yuan and Shen An'an asked everyone to share their "Only Once in Life" experiences. After the recording, Liang Yuan asked who Shen An'an wanted to invite for the event. Shen An'an hesitated, staring at her phone in a daze, realizing that Lin Yao hadn't contacted her for a long time. Shen An'an knew that Lin Yao had taken many steps towards her, but she had been avoiding him. Liang Yuan shared her own experience with Shen An'an, mentioning that she had once met someone who treated her very well but felt it was too early and didn't make any promises, resulting in them missing each other. Liang Yuan advised Shen An'an to grasp her own happiness.
The program "Only Once in Life" started airing, and Shen An'an shared her story during the program. She expressed gratitude to those who had helped her after her divorce and urged everyone to cherish the people around them. Liang Yuan appeared on stage and revealed that she had invited a special guest, which turned out to be Ren Yiming. Before the program started, Liang Yuan found Ren Yiming, knowing that he still had feelings for Shen An'an, and hoped he would give himself a chance and not have any regrets.
During the program, Ren Yiming admitted that his only chance was the mistake of having an affair. He knew it was irreparable and decided to help a friend fulfill their one and only chance in life. Then, Lin Yao's video appeared on the big screen. Lin Yao sat in the hospital room and shared his story with everyone. He expressed his feelings for Shen An'an, which greatly excited her.
