He calmly announced his decision to unilaterally and voluntarily dissolve his contract with SG Entertainment and apologized for any negative impact he had caused. This move earned him the respect of the shocked executives. Zhu Da Zhuang failed to get any useful gossip from the staff, Pan Duo found a brooch that belonged to a previous guest, Qi Chao was caught trying to hack the system, and Yao Yao was identified while trying to deceive the receptionist. Even You Xi was unsuccessful, getting kicked out after he was caught sneaking cake while trying to eavesdrop. Despite their varied efforts, they returned empty-handed.
Later, Yao Yao received a call that prompted her to leave in a hurry. The caller was Tong Jin, who revealed herself to be the daughter of the hotel's head, Mr. Tong, and a backer of Song Qie Ge. She showed Yao Yao the surveillance video that could prove You Xi's innocence, only to sadistically destroy the digital file right in front of her, mocking You Xi and Shen Yiling.
Unbeknownst to Tong Jin, her father had secretly kept a copy of the video, wary of Song Qie Ge and intending to use it as future leverage. Meanwhile, the investors for Mr. Wei Ran's new film, led by Mr. Tong, prepared a press conference to announce Song Qie Ge as the male lead.
This was a strategic move to force Mr. Wei Ran's hand by presenting him with a fait accompli, as they believed he couldn't make the film without their investment. At the press conference, Song Qie Ge took the stage, delivering a pompous speech thanking Mr. Wei Ran for the opportunity. Mid-speech, Pan Duo burst into the hall and rushed onto the stage.

He then signaled for security to remove her.
