He Mosheng joyfully played with children on the beach. He Yichen, watching her thoughtfully, asked if she liked children, to which she replied that they were very cute. Mosheng intended to tell Yichen about adopting Xiao Jia, but Yichen brought up the name "Xiao Jia." Mosheng was taken aback, asking how he knew and if Ying Hui had told him.

She began to explain about her time in America, but Yi Chen quickly cut her off, stating he didn't need to know the details. Mosheng teasingly retorted that it was his last chance, and she wouldn't tell him if he asked later. Yi Chen, in turn, playfully said he wouldn't tell her even now, then told her she was paying for the children's playtime anyway and could stay by herself.

He Yimei rushed to Yi Chen's law firm, only to learn that he was abroad. She immediately called him, informing him that Zhao Mosheng had married while in America. Yi Chen confirmed he already knew and that Mo Sheng was now divorced. A shocked Yimei asked why he would still choose to be with her. Yi Chen emphatically stated he didn't care about Mo Sheng's previous marriage.

Devastated, Yimei questioned to herself why Yi Chen would prefer a divorced woman over her, wondering what made her inferior. Moments later, Lao Yuan approached her and casually mentioned that Yi Chen was on his honeymoon. Yimei, stunned, asked if he meant Yi Chen had married Zhao Mosheng, which Lao Yuan confirmed. Overwhelmed, Yimei broke down in tears and left the firm, leaving Lao Yuan bewildered by her reaction.

He Yichen and Zhao Mosheng enjoyed a pleasant day on their yacht trip, riding the waves, strolling hand-in-hand on the beach, and admiring the scenery. Later, Mo Sheng got a minor knee scratch while playing. She later worried about it leaving a scar, but Yi Chen reminded her that she was already married, so she shouldn't worry. She then lamented that her injury meant they couldn't go into the water, suggesting they go somewhere else.

Yi Chen, however, mentioned special arrangements for the next day that didn't involve the seaside. Soon after, Mo Sheng caught a cold, complaining about their string of bad luck—first her fall, now her sickness. Yi Chen playfully remarked that he was the one losing out, then told her she had ruined his entire plan. When Mo Sheng innocently asked what plan, Yi Chen quietly revealed he was aiming to make their marriage a "real marriage."

This made Mo Sheng blush, and she quickly pulled the covers over herself. Yi Chen watched her, internally sighing at her obliviousness to the fact that she was currently in a bigamous marriage. Lu Yuanfeng sent messages to He Yimei on Laiwang, inquiring about her interview, but received no response. He consoled himself, deciding to be a thoughtful boyfriend, and went to the cinema alone to watch the animated film "Turtle Adventures."

The movie, featuring Xiao Xiao's voice acting, moved him to tears. Meanwhile, a distraught He Yimei returned home late that night to recover from her emotional distress. Her mother expressed concern, mentioning that Yi Chen had tried to reach her. Later, Yuanfeng called Yimei’s home phone. He was surprised she had left without telling him and offered to visit her immediately. However, Yimei, her voice heavy with sorrow, told him they should break up.

When Yuanfeng, shocked, asked why, she explained that she had realized his efforts were futile when her heart belonged to someone else. She admitted she couldn't control her feelings for that person and had never felt anything for Yuanfeng. Apologizing for wasting his time and for having "used" him, she insisted she didn't want to see anyone, effectively ending their relationship.

Yi Chen, still processing the implications of Ying Hui's claims about his marriage to Mo Sheng, called a friend named Jason. He asked Jason to find an investigation company in San Francisco to delve into a divorce case. Meanwhile, Tong Xinying called Ying Hui, inviting him to eat at a nostalgic restaurant they used to frequent as freshmen, located near Changhua University's East Gate, suggesting they meet at 9 AM the next morning.

Ying Hui initially agreed, expressing pleasure that she remembered the spot. However, after his assistant reminded him of an important 9 AM meeting with Director Wang the next day, Ying Hui decided to cancel his meeting with Xinying, instructing his assistant to note his current "bad mood." Lu Yuanfeng confronted Xiao Xiao, desperate to know who He Yimei truly loved and what made him inferior.

Xiao Xiao bluntly told him he was inferior in every way—looks, manners, capability, and income—and that the man Yimei loved was "perfect." Distraught, Yuanfeng broke down crying. Xiao Xiao then confided in him, revealing her own past heartbreak as a "stupid country girl" who lost her beloved grandmother while wallowing in sadness over a deceitful man. She urged him not to make the same mistake.

Deciding to drown their sorrows, they went to a bar and drank until they were both completely intoxicated. The next morning, Yuanfeng awoke in his bed to find Xiao Xiao sleeping beside him. He was utterly shocked and flustered. Xiao Xiao, however, was unfazed, dismissing their encounter as a "routine among adults" and firmly stating she wouldn't take any responsibility.

Yuanfeng stammered that it was his first time and accused her of taking advantage of him, but Xiao Xiao merely reiterated her stance before attempting to leave. At that precise moment, Yuanfeng's parents walked in. Thinking quickly, Xiao Xiao announced that she was from property management, there to check the water meter, and quickly exited. Yuanfeng's parents exchanged bewildered glances, realizing the "property management" staff was none other than the famous magazine cover model.

His mother then confronted a feigning-sleep Yuanfeng, directly asking if Xiao Xiao was his girlfriend and if they had spent the night together. Yuanfeng tried to deny it, claiming Xiao Xiao was merely a friend who had been dumped and stayed in their guest room. His mother, however, was not convinced. Despite Mo Sheng's persistent complaints about being confined to their room and eating the same food daily due to her lingering fever, Yi Chen insisted she needed to recover.

She yearned to walk on the deck, see the fishing boats and speedboats, and finally step onto the pristine white sand beach, having missed out on such experiences since their arrival. Meanwhile, back at their law firm, Yi Chen's colleague, Yuan Fei, joked about Yi Chen's workaholic nature, revealing that he was emailing tasks even on his honeymoon because Mo Sheng had fallen ill shortly after they arrived.

Mo Sheng later left a playful voice message for Yi Chen, jokingly accusing him of fraud for calling their trip a honeymoon when he was just working, begging him to "free" her. Yi Chen, still cautious about her health, cited the windy weather. After some playful negotiation over the length of their outdoor excursion (through a phone call), they eventually enjoyed some time on the beach.

As they prepared to leave the next day, Mo Sheng lamented that they hadn't truly "done anything" for their honeymoon. To her surprise, Yi Chen then revealed a magical display he had prepared on the beach, spelling out "Sunshine" in lights, a sweet gesture to make up for their confined honeymoon.
