> Resumos de My Sunshine
Ying Hui intentionally told Xin Ying that he came to see her that day, hoping to see her living a happy life. He remarked that they had lost too much in the past and should not continue to lose more, which made Xin Ying hopeful for a reconciliation.
After seeing her off, Ying Hui reflected on how he could have been so easily deceived by such transparent acting in the past, lamenting that all his profound pain was caused by this very woman. Meanwhile, Yichen arrived late for dinner with Yimei and Yuanfeng, explaining that he was coming from the Putuo District Court, so he wasn't traveling in the same direction as Mosheng, who hadn't arrived yet.
Yimei mentioned that Ying Hui had specifically requested Mosheng as his photographer for an interview. Yichen admitted he didn't inquire much about her work but was surprised by Mosheng's capabilities, remarking on her ability to know a top law student like him in college and then a prominent figure like Ying Hui while abroad. Yuanfeng found Yimei's comments strange, prompting Yimei to express concern that her brother might be unknowingly taken advantage of.
Yuanfeng retorted that Yimei shouldn't interfere in their relationship, to which Yimei angrily responded that her own affairs didn't require his interference either. Mosheng eventually arrived, apologizing for the traffic. At the magazine office, the Editor-in-Chief excitedly announced that fashion brand owner Wang Jinwei (also known as Miffel) had agreed to an interview, scheduled in Hong Kong.
She designated Mosheng to lead the interview, accompanied by Xiao Hong and Da Bao, due to Mosheng’s excellent English from her time studying abroad. Xiao Hong was thrilled, already planning to shop and visit Disneyland. Colleagues jokingly complained about the preference for English names over beautiful Chinese ones, and about "elites" who returned from abroad, constantly comparing China to Western countries.
When Mosheng returned home to pack, Yichen, seeing her suitcase, grew anxious and confronted her, asking if she was planning to leave without him knowing again, just as she had before. He reminded her that she was already married and demanded to know how many years she intended to be gone this time. He forcefully pulled her onto the sofa, and only calmed down when she cried out in pain and asked him to let go.
He responded by asking if she knew what pain was. Mosheng explained that she was going to Hong Kong for an exclusive interview with Miffel and would return in a few days, having almost forgotten to pack until just then. Upon arriving in Hong Kong, Mosheng and her colleagues waited in the hotel lobby for the interview subject. After their patience wore thin, Miffel’s assistant finally appeared and led them to a private cocktail party.
Mosheng was surprised to see Ying Hui there and asked why he was present. He casually informed her that it was "our house in Hong Kong," as if she should remember. Wang Jinwei then explained that Ying Hui was a mutual acquaintance who admired Mosheng’s photography and had convinced her to accept the interview. She suggested they enjoy the party tonight and conduct the interview tomorrow morning.
Mosheng and her colleagues, feeling unprepared for a party in their interview attire, tried to decline, but Ying Hui insisted it was an ordinary gathering. Ying Hui then asked to speak with Mosheng alone. During their conversation, Mosheng noticed that everyone at the party was referring to her as "Mrs. Ying" and asked Ying Hui what was happening.
He explained that for the sake of the company's public image and performance, he had delayed announcing their divorce and asked her to continue pretending to be his wife for a while longer. Mosheng firmly refused, stating that she was already married. Ying Hui tried to downplay the situation, saying she was "Mrs. Ying" before, so it was "no big deal" to continue the pretense, but Mosheng remained resolute in her refusal.
Mosheng excused herself to the restroom and secretly called Yichen. She confessed that she had been led to a party and had encountered Ying Hui. Yichen, having already guessed, asked her for the address. Meanwhile, Xiao Hong and Da Bao overheard guests calling Mosheng "Mrs. Ying." They were bewildered, questioning if they were sober or if it was truly possible that Mosheng, a billionaire's wife, would live independently and rent a house.
They hypothesized that she might have been Ying Hui's wife, but they were now divorced, and she was currently in a relationship with Lawyer He (Yichen). They found the unfolding "drama" astounding but decided to keep their theories private for now due to lack of concrete evidence. Upon receiving Mosheng's call, Yichen instructed his assistant, Meiting, to immediately book him a flight to Hong Kong within the next two hours. When Mosheng emerged from the restroom, the party had dispersed.
Ying Hui approached her, offering food, which she politely declined. Her colleagues, Xiao Hong and Da Bao, found her, and Mosheng claimed she had gotten lost. Ying Hui, feigning regret for her getting lost, offered to show them around his villa. Xiao Hong and Da Bao enthusiastically accepted. As he gave them a tour of his sprawling home, Ying Hui reminisced about missing "Xiao Jia" (their adopted son) and commented that Mosheng must miss him too.
Ying Hui then pressed them to stay the night, but Mosheng refused, citing the need to prepare for work and retrieve their documents from their downtown hotel. Unable to persuade her, Ying Hui insisted on driving them back to their hotel. As they arrived at the hotel lobby, they were met by Yichen, who claimed to be in Hong Kong for business but had intended to surprise Mosheng.
Ying Hui and Yichen exchanged polite but barbed greetings, each subtly asserting his claim. Yichen further surprised Ying Hui by observing that chance encounters usually don’t happen by chance. Ying Hui announced that he had upgraded their rooms to executive suites and had arranged a sea-view suite specifically for Mosheng. Yichen, without hesitation, accepted the upgraded accommodation, saying he also had not booked a room in the hotel and would now not have to worry.
Feeling the tension, Xiao Hong and Da Bao quickly excused themselves to their rooms. There, they expressed astonishment at the luxurious suites and further discussed their deductions about Mosheng's complicated past with Ying Hui and her current relationship with Yichen. Yichen, claiming to be hungry, suggested they go eat, which Ying Hui readily echoed, stating he had forgotten Mosheng hadn't eaten yet. During dinner, the two men engaged in a subtle battle for Mosheng's attention.
Yichen ordered Mosheng's favorite sweet and sour ribs and other dishes, specifically changing her preferred red bean smoothie to hot red bean paste, explaining that smoothies at night weren't good for her stomach and that he spoiled her too much. Ying Hui, in turn, also claimed to know Mosheng's favorites, trying to demonstrate his familiarity, though he seemed less aware of her current preferences. Both men vied to serve Mosheng food, while she tried to navigate the situation.
Ying Hui continued to subtly show his care, mentioning the health benefits of red bean paste. After dinner, Ying Hui invited Yichen to play billiards, suggesting that Hong Kong nights were full of fun. Yichen accepted, matching Ying Hui's competitive energy. While playing, Ying Hui expressed his deep regret over losing Mosheng, admitting that he had been too consumed by work during the past three years and would certainly not make the same mistake again if given another chance.
