After the memorial, Niu Meili returned to the empty Fu's Diner, feeling wistful and saddened by the absence of Fu's father. Zhao Xiaobei later visited Niu Meili to apologize for past deceptions.
Niu Meili, having experienced Fu's father's passing, had a changed perspective on past issues, considering them resolved and insignificant in the face of death.
