Synopsis
Due to family reasons, Xie Niaoniao lacks trust in intimate relationships and devotes herself entirely to her career. By her thirties, she has achieved professional success, but has long relied on dating apps to form temporary casual relationships, becoming a highly experienced "playgirl" in the art of dating.
On a New Year's Eve casual invitation, Xie Niaoniao meets the pure and innocent Bai Shu. To win him over, she uses all her "playgirl" tactics—but is gradually moved by his sincerity. Just as their feelings grow strong, they unexpectedly discover that Bai Shu is the son of the "sixth mother" whom Xie's father recently remarried. And this "sixth mother," Bai Shu's mother, turns out to be Xie Niaoniao's direct superior at work.
Later, Bai Shu's childhood friend frames Xie Niaoniao, leading her father and Bai Shu's mother to discover their relationship. Her father is furious, but Bai Shu's mother is fully supportive. Xie Niaoniao decides to spend three years abroad—a test for herself and for Bai Shu. Three years later, their feelings are as strong as ever, and Xie Niaoniao has overcome her inner demons, finally finding her happily ever after.
