Zhang Yue and Shen Juan formally became husband and wife and began to celebrate their special day. During a candlelit dinner, they raised their glasses, and Shen Juan assured Zhang Yue that he would not disappoint her, neither with the Paipai Project nor in their future life together. Zhang Yue smiled, put on some music, and they embraced, dancing gracefully, promising each other a lifetime of love and commitment.

Zhang Yue expressed that while she helped him get the project because he was her husband, she hoped he would treat her as his wife in most situations. Shen Juan, for his part, aimed to perform exceptionally to earn the Zhang family's approval. Meanwhile, Miss Guo decided that Cheng Zheng and Su Yunjin would accompany her to the Paipai bidding meeting. Su Yunjin, secretly thrilled, feigned apprehension in front of Cheng Zheng.

He playfully tapped her head, recognizing her act, and both were pleased that their hard work was paying off. Miss Guo had reviewed their proposals and product designs, noting a significant improvement in their data. She explained that she wanted to provide them with opportunities to learn, as she was unsure how long she could mentor them as interns.

Cheng Zheng expressed concern about encountering Shen Juan at the bidding, but Su Yunjin insisted she no longer cared about their past. The next day, Miss Guo, Cheng Zheng, and Su Yunjin arrived at the bidding venue and predictably encountered Zhang Yue and Shen Juan. Zhang Yue was surprised to see Cheng Zheng, revealing to Miss Guo that Cheng Zheng was her younger brother, which in turn surprised Miss Guo.

Unfortunately, just before the bidding began, Miss Guo felt unwell and was unable to participate, leaving Su Yunjin to step in as a last-minute replacement. First to present was Shen Juan from Hengkai. He emphasized the broad application of the internet and its power to replace traditional social media, focusing on a desktop-based approach. Zhang Yue, observing that MD Network had sent an intern, felt confident that Hengkai would secure the win.

However, Su Yunjin then presented an innovative proposal for developing a mobile client solution. She highlighted user experience and proposed interactive features like a "money tree" game to enhance user engagement, confidently predicting that mobile client usage would far surpass desktop usage within five to ten years. Shen Juan's face immediately fell as he realized the challenging situation.

During her presentation, Shen Juan interjected, arguing that her plan was too advanced and might not yield immediate returns, advocating for investing in the proven computer-based platform instead. Su Yunjin countered by maintaining that user interactivity was crucial for future development. During a break, Shen Juan subtly emerged from the meeting room. He took out a promissory note from Uncle Ding, contemplating it.

He initially tried to hand it to a waiter to deliver to Su Yunjin but quickly changed his mind, retrieving the note. He then pretended to send a text message to Uncle Ding, asking if a sum of money had been transferred to him, then deliberately forwarded this message to Su Yunjin. His intention was to remind her that he had once helped her family financially.

As expected, upon receiving the message, Su Yunjin rushed out to find Shen Juan, asking for an explanation. Shen Juan falsely claimed he had sent the message by mistake. Su Yunjin, surprised by the revelation, firmly stated her intention to repay the debt.

Shen Juan then revealed his true motive, telling her that while he didn't need the money back immediately, he hoped she would withdraw from the Paipai Project out of their past connection, emphasizing the project's critical importance to his career at Hengkai. Just then, Cheng Zheng arrived. Witnessing Shen Juan's unethical business tactics, he became furious and immediately declared that he would represent Hengkai in terminating Shen Juan's employment.

To Cheng Zheng's astonishment, Zhang Yue not only defended Shen Juan but also unequivocally announced that they were already married. She sternly warned Cheng Zheng that this would be the last time he spoke to Shen Juan in such a manner, reminding him that Shen Juan was now his brother-in-law. Zhang Yue and Shen Juan drove back from the meeting.

Zhang Yue questioned Shen Juan if he had contacted Su Yunjin solely for the bid, but he reiterated that it was an accidental misdirection. Zhang Yue, trusting him completely, accepted his explanation. When they returned to the company, Cheng Zheng followed them, pulling his sister into her office. He angrily demanded to know if she was truly married to Shen Juan. Zhang Yue, standing her ground, asserted that marrying someone she loved was perfectly normal.

She revealed that Cheng Zheng was the first family member she had told, expressing her happiness and hoping for his blessing, even if he couldn't offer it. Cheng Zheng, frustrated and unconvinced by her justifications, accused Shen Juan of using her to advance his own career. He warned Shen Juan in no uncertain terms to treat Zhang Yue well, or he would face severe consequences.

Regarding the debt, Cheng Zheng declared that he would accompany Su Yunjin as she repaid every penny, ensuring they would not owe anything. He dismissed Shen Juan's explanation about the "accidental" message, stating that he didn't believe it. Later, Su Yunjin called Uncle Ding, who informed her that half of the 150,000 RMB debt still remained, adding that Shen Juan had previously asked him not to mention the loan to her.

Other interns discussed the difficulty of securing a permanent position at MD Network. Cheng Zheng found Su Yunjin and offered her a ride, but she preferred to walk, so he walked alongside her. They discussed the debt, and Su Yunjin mentioned Shen Juan's name, which displeased Cheng Zheng. She defended Shen Juan, suggesting that perhaps he and Zhang Yue genuinely loved each other.

As the conversation continued, Su Yunjin reflected on her presentation, admitting it had flaws and that her answers to Hengkai's questions were not entirely comprehensive. Cheng Zheng reassured her, emphasizing that they had put in their best effort, and regardless of the outcome, they would have no regrets. They then parted ways, agreeing to meet the next day when the bidding results would be announced.
