> Resumos de Turbulent Love
Ji Zhijie met with Councilor Zhu in a secluded room, where the councilor praised him as the rightful heir to Cangfeng for making a "smart choice." Ji Zhijie, however, remained cynical, stating he truly had no other option; if he hadn't cooperated, neither he nor his men would have left Seronport alive. Councilor Zhu brushed off the tension, promising Ji Zhijie that serving him would bring endless rewards.
He proposed a shift in strategy: rather than focusing on risky international smuggling, they would dominate the domestic market in Seronport. Zhu’s plan involved turning the Li Island dock into a supply factory and using the nightclub as a distribution center for their "goods." Ji Zhijie raised concerns about the Li Island project, noting that the local fishermen, who worship and depend on the sea, would never agree to sell their land.
He worried that forcing the issue would make him a hated figure, but Councilor Zhu dismissed these fears, insisting that he determined what was legal in Seronport. To show his sincerity, Ji Zhijie offered the councilor the entire profit from their recent Suphan deal on one condition: he wanted to become a true "insider," reaching a status Liang Zhaokun never achieved.
Seeing the ambition in his eyes, the councilor proposed a marriage alliance between Ji Zhijie and his daughter, Shuyi, as the final step into their inner circle. When asked about Hao Yu, Ji Zhijie coldly dismissed her as merely a woman who could never escape his grasp. The forced development of Li Island soon sparked a public outcry.
As public anger boiled over, Ji Zhijie’s own household felt the consequences; a servant returned home after being beaten on the street, reporting that the people were calling Ji Zhijie a lapdog for Councilor Zhu. Internal tensions also reached a breaking point when Feiying attacked the councilor’s men for abusing local islanders and their own brothers. Ji Zhijie was furious, ordering Feiying to apologize to the councilor on his knees. Feiying refused, stating he would rather die.
Even when Feilong pleaded for mercy, Ji Zhijie turned on him, accusing him of disloyalty and mentioning a carload of gold offered by the Lianxing group. He demanded they all leave Seronport for places like Xingzhou, claiming he would no longer tolerate anyone with "two hearts" around him. Hao Yu witnessed Ji Zhijie’s descent into tyranny and confronted him, but he met her with cold cruelty.
He told her she was no longer special and that he only kept her around to torture her and make her pay for her past attempts to ruin him. He then forced her to sign the transfer papers for the nightclub, handing control over to Shuyi. Deeply suspicious of the transfer, Hao Yu went to the nightclub herself.
There, she encountered Feihu, who warned her that Ji Zhijie was no longer the man she once knew and that her presence put them both in danger. Suddenly, a woman named Xiaocui, a reporter for the Seronport Daily who had been working undercover as a waitress, begged Hao Yu for help. Xiaocui had been caught recording celebrities and councilors using "new goods" and was now facing brutal retaliation.
Hao Yu tried to help Xiaocui escape through the back door with Feihu's help, but they were intercepted by Shuyi. Shuyi accused Hao Yu of being a police informant and teaming up with the reporter to frame her. Ji Zhijie arrived shortly after and handed both Feihu and Xiaocui over to Shuyi to be punished as she saw fit.
Shuyi ordered Feihu to be thrown to the dogs and Xiaocui’s eyes and ears to be mutilated before being sold to the high seas. Ji Zhijie ordered his men to carry out the brutal instructions without hesitation. Despite Hao Yu kneeling and begging for their lives, Ji Zhijie remained unmoved, telling her she had no standing to plead for anyone.
Shuyi was impressed by Ji Zhijie’s ruthlessness, noting that she had been told he was someone blinded by love, but clearly, that was no longer true. Ji Zhijie remarked that money and power were the only things that wouldn't betray him. Satisfied with his loyalty, Shuyi promised to take him to meet the other insiders the next day to discuss their upcoming wedding. As reporters were still lurking outside, Shuyi decided to stay at Ji Zhijie’s residence for the night.
Later, a servant found a devastated Hao Yu in the rain and informed her that while Feilong had managed to save Feihu and get him to a hospital, Xiaocui had not been so lucky. The reporter's eyes had been gouged out, a fact confirmed by Ji Zhijie and Shuyi through videos and photos sent to them. Amidst the tragedy, Hao Yu discovered a note Xiaocui had slipped to her earlier. It revealed that evidence of Cangfeng’s illegal collaboration with the councilors was hidden in a safe in the nightclub's office—a safe that could only be opened with Shuyi’s fingerprint.
