The members of the Tengda team return to their office, overcome with nostalgia. Lv Mingliang and Huang Sibo realize they are sitting in the exact same spots where they first met on their first day at the company. Pei Qian arrives and offers a sincere apology for his previous mistakes. He asks the team if they are willing to follow him once more to "clear the Tengda instance," and the group enthusiastically toasts to their renewed journey.

Business resumes with incredible momentum. The 2. 0 update for "The Divine Mountains and Seas" is a success, featuring a new "Guardian of Light" character and a Mid-Autumn Festival event that includes virtual lantern riddles and escape rooms. The Fish-Catching Internet Cafe reopens its doors, and customers are thrilled to learn that Chen Lei is returning for a comeback performance.

Meanwhile, Tian Mo and Li Yaling work together to get Sloth Gym back in operation, welcoming back members who missed its unique philosophy. To compensate the residents of the Four Wall Apartments for earlier troubles, the company restores their long-term leases and grants them a full year of free rent. On the film set, production finally wraps; despite previous conflicts over funding and leading roles, Road Zhiyao and Shi Huo exchange contact information as friends.

A mysterious elderly visitor arrives at the office, prompting curiosity. Xin Hailu explains he is Pei Qian’s friend. The visitor is Sima Ming, who reveals he left the hospital some time ago and stayed hidden to observe Tengda’s evolution. He notes that while his own Jinghong Group has been declining, Tengda has flourished.

Sima Ming declares that Pei Qian has passed his final test and proposes a new agreement: Tengda will now be a profit-making venture where Pei Qian is the primary beneficiary. He also mentions he has sent his sons abroad to prevent them from interfering. Pei Qian realizes that to Sima Ming, everyone—including his own family—has merely been a pawn on a chessboard. Pei Qian’s personal life also sees a resolution.

His father calls to report that their neighbor, Mr. Ge, finally agreed to the installation of an elevator in their old building after Pei Qian arranged a job at Tengda for Mr. Ge’s son-in-law. Although Pei Qian regrets losing their luxury apartment, his parents reassure him that they are happy in their old home as long as the family is together and healthy. They encourage him to pursue whatever work makes him happy.

Resolved to define his own future, Pei Qian meets Sima Ming at the apartments to set his own conditions. He insists that Tengda must operate as an independent entity to ensure it never loses its integrity or turns into another version of Jinghong. After the meeting, he asks Xin Hailu to notify the staff that he is taking a long vacation.

The business landscape shifts as Sima Ming announces his retirement, leaving his four sons—Sima Wan, Tu, Sui, and Fu—as joint CEOs of Jinghong. Tengda becomes independent, with Pei Qian holding a 51% stake and the employees holding the remaining 49%. The company moves into a massive new headquarters in an industrial park and opens branches in numerous cities.

Each department thrives; the gaming division continues to break records, and Huang Sibo’s film division produces several successful projects, with Huang even considering directing an animated film about Nezha. After traveling for a long time, Pei Qian finally returns. Ma Yang and the others greet him warmly, joking about his extended absence.

Ma Yang reminds him of their early days in a small rental house when Pei Qian first asked him to join the business, jokingly offering him a job as a security guard. Pei Qian decides to keep his original office vacant, instructing the agent to maintain the lease despite the prime location. He places a photo from their original opening on the desk and decides to begin a new chapter by writing a novel based on his experience of building Tengda.
