Wei Dongli waits up all night to ensure they are the only ones required to clock in, marking them late at 8:01 AM. He even monitors their bathroom breaks, reminding a frustrated Zhou Muyan that the ten-minute limit was a rule Zhou himself had originally created. Pei Qian further tightens the leash by installing a dedicated surveillance camera for Zhou, demanding daily work logs and forbidding personal mobile phone use during work hours.
Per Pei Qian's orders, Zhou Muyan gives a presentation to the staff analyzing the failure of the game "Eternal Reincarnation". When he tries to hide behind corporate platitudes, Wei Dongli demands the truth.
