> Resúmenes de Mr. Fighting
Gu Dapeng arrived for an appointment with his girlfriend Lin Fang, much to Niu Meili's visible displeasure, while Fu Zi's father seemed smug and even hummed a triumphant tune as he gossiped about Dapeng and his girlfriend. Hao Zeyu rushed to the cinema, pretending he had just gotten off a plane. Fu Zi reminded him not to dwell on his issues with Niu Meili and offered him belated New Year wishes.
Niu Meili, already furious with Hao Zeyu, almost vented her frustration with Gu Dapeng on him. Zhao Xiaobei and Ren Jiajia, meanwhile, munched popcorn and enjoyed the spectacle. Niu Meili had booked the entire cinema, and as the movie began, everyone sat down with various expectations, especially anticipating Hao Zeyu's performance. However, something felt off; more than halfway through, Hao Zeyu, the male supporting actor, still hadn't appeared. Fu Zi's father, unable to sit still, pulled Gu Dapeng aside.
Gu Dapeng, in a moment of clarity, realized that Niu Meili's heart belonged to Fu Zi's father, a fact Fu Zi's father was already aware of. Gu Dapeng expressed his joy at having known Niu Meili, declaring her a good woman and sincerely wishing her happiness, having observed no other men around her. Niu Meili coughed, and Gu Dapeng quickly moved to her side. Ren Jiajia found it very strange that Hao Zeyu had yet to appear.
Seizing the moment in the cinema, Gu Dapeng offered Niu Meili a blessing, words he normally couldn't express. Gu Dapeng then returned to Lin Fang's side, and Fu Zi's father took a seat next to Niu Meili. When the movie concluded, Hao Zeyu's entire screen time amounted to just two shots, with not a single line of dialogue. Everyone was surprised and bewildered.
Hao Zeyu, feeling his half-year of effort had been for naught, quietly stood up and left in dejection. He felt deeply hurt, ironic, and like a joke or a clown, especially as he had prepared to receive applause and flowers, only to find even temporary extras had more screen time than him. Fu Zi, very worried, followed him.
She acknowledged the immense blow this was to him, but confessed that, surprisingly, she felt a sense of calm, as she had worried about things being too smooth previously. Hao Zeyu, however, was furious. Having struggled in the industry for ten years, he vehemently rejected any talk of being grounded or turning waste into treasure.
He asserted his sole desire to be an actor, to see some tangible return on his efforts, and explained that his persistence until now stemmed from the burning desire to perform well in a drama. Requesting to be left alone, he asked Fu Zi to return home, then turned and departed, leaving Fu Zi sobbing uncontrollably.
Niu Meili, distressed, felt she was experiencing a streak of bad luck and complained she should have secured other work for Hao Zeyu to fall back on. Fu Zi's father, understanding her frustration was partly due to Gu Dapeng, gleefully teased her, mocking her self-delusion and remarking that he seemed happier than Gu Dapeng himself about the new girlfriend. Niu Meili, however, defiantly declared her determination to still get married.
Fu Zi's father, feigning indifference, lowered his head slightly and suggested that if she truly wanted to marry, she could pursue him again, as she had in the past, implying he might actually agree this time. Niu Meili, exasperated, scornfully shooed him away, but secretly smiled to herself. Bai Jiaojiao, having watched the movie and knowing Hao Zeyu was troubled, arranged to meet him. She consoled him, pointing out that he still had one more shot than she once did.
Hao Zeyu, somberly, noted that she had only spent a day on set, while he had been there for half a year. Bai Jiaojiao understood his deep sense of grievance and shared her own experience: she had once joined a production a year in advance, even breaking her leg while filming, but despite the movie's box office success, no one knew she had been in it because her entire role was cut.
She had confronted the director, who reportedly claimed she was "too dazzling" and had to be cut. Bai Jiaojiao emphasized that all an actor's efforts are for the betterment of the work itself, not for personal gain. Back home, Hao Zeyu miserably prepared a bowl of noodles, only to drop and break it, signifying his complete breakdown and feeling that when one is unlucky, everything goes wrong.
Fu Zi, deeply affected, could not eat the food in front of her and went upstairs. Hao Zeyu drafted and deleted text messages, unsure how to approach Fu Zi. Later, he visited Yan Rujing to express his gratitude, even though his endorsement deal had fallen through due to the movie's outcome. Yan Rujing comforted him, saying that despite only two shots, his performance was a "glimpse of wonder."
Yan Rujing then subtly inquired about his team, but Hao Zeyu insisted the outcome was not their fault, but rather a reflection of his own poor acting. Bai Jiaojiao, seeing Hao Zeyu leave Yan Rujing's company, wondered if he had come to seek her help and believed that with his potential and diligence, he now needed Yan Rujing's support. Fu Zi remained in a low mood, preoccupied with worry for Hao Zeyu, unable to eat or drink.
Her father, finally losing his patience, scolded her, recognizing her deeper feelings for Hao Zeyu. Fu Zi took the opportunity to admit that she liked Hao Zeyu and that their feelings were mutual. Fu Zi's father vehemently opposed their relationship, citing the significantly more complex environment of Hao Zeyu's profession.
Fu Zi emotionally countered, admitting she might face sadness, regret, or even not end up with Hao Zeyu, but insisted that if her father prevented them from being together, she would live with a lifelong regret. Seeing her determination, Fu Zi's father silently took his coat and left, but Fu Zi remained stubborn, asserting her trust in Hao Zeyu.
Niu Meili, meanwhile, was trying to learn the violin from a wandering singer named Dong En, a young man she had met. Ren Jiajia, witnessing this, once again started gossiping, much to Niu Meili's embarrassment, who then quickly sent Dong En away. Niu Meili was troubled by both Gu Dapeng's situation and Hao Zeyu's career setback. She later made noodles for Ren Jiajia, who found them unappetizing compared to instant noodles.
Ren Jiajia suggested that Niu Meili was best suited to training newcomers, mentioning Dong En as a promising example. Yan Rujing contacted Zhao Xiaobei to gauge Niu Meili's reaction to recent events. Zhao Xiaobei had assumed Niu Meili would have given up on Hao Zeyu by now, but to his disappointment, Yan Rujing still saw value in Hao Zeyu's potential for generating "hot search" topics and was unwilling to let him go.
In the cold weather, Fu Zi's father visited Hao Zeyu at his home, bringing alcohol. He had something to say but hesitated. After a few drinks, he could only warn Hao Zeyu to treat Fu Zi well in the future. He acknowledged that his daughter had grown up and was independent, implying he could no longer control her choices, and added that Fu Zi was easily satisfied, wanting only a stable life. Hao Zeyu, however, retorted that Fu Zi's father did not truly understand Fu Zi's deepest desires or thoughts.
