> Resúmenes de Mr. Fighting
Fu Zi arrived at the police station to bail out Hao Zeyu and her father. Inside the holding cell, Hao Zeyu and Fu Papa were in a heated argument. Hao Zeyu accused Fu Papa of driving too fast, causing him to vomit in the car, while Fu Papa demanded Hao Zeyu clean it and return the ¥300 he claimed was for the ride, not for car cleaning.
Hao Zeyu, desperate to leave, tried to return the money (specifically the ¥247 change from the ¥300 fare), but Fu Papa refused it, stating he would hand it over to the police. Fu Papa then teasingly claimed he was "Master Fu of Dongsi" and challenged Hao Zeyu to a fight. After some back-and-forth, Fu Papa faked a heart attack, momentarily startling Hao Zeyu into calling for an officer.
Niu Meili also arrived at the station, having received a call from Fu Papa, who specifically asked her not to tell Fu Zi. However, Hao Zeyu had already messaged Fu Zi. Fu Zi questioned Niu Meili about her father's lifestyle, suspecting he was in trouble, to which Niu Meili vaguely suggested Fu Papa might be considering remarriage. The officer informed them that formalities needed to be completed before anyone could leave.
Fu Papa then downplayed the earlier incident with Hao Zeyu, saying they were "just playing." Outside, Fu Zi angrily confronted Hao Zeyu, accusing him of ruining her father’s car, especially given its importance to Fu Papa, who treated it better than her. She also chastised Hao Zeyu for disrespecting Niu Meili, who had sacrificed so much for him. Fu Papa intervened, telling Fu Zi to stop yelling and dismissing her complaints about him hiding things from her.
Despite the tension, Fu Papa then extended an invitation for everyone to have breakfast together. Fu Zi initially refused to join if Hao Zeyu was present, but she eventually got into the car with them and Niu Meili. At a bustling street food stall, Fu Papa ordered a large spread of breakfast items. Hao Zeyu looked disgusted by the fried liver. Fu Zi also expressed her distaste, leading to playful teasing from Niu Meili and Fu Papa.
Niu Meili mentioned Hao Zeyu was an actor, which Fu Zi scoffed at, suggesting his only acting gigs were "staged crashes." Fu Papa demonstrated how to properly eat the fried liver with steamed buns, then reflected on the importance of living properly, regardless of fame or wealth.
When Fu Zi complained about Hao Zeyu wasting food, Fu Papa suggested Niu Meili sign Fu Zi, but Niu Meili pointed out Fu Zi's judgmental comments about attractive people, prompting Fu Papa to tell his daughter she wasn't "pretty enough" to make such remarks. Back at home, Fu Zi told her father she wanted to quit working with Hao Zeyu, believing he was bad luck for their family.
Her father, instead of persuading her, provocatively suggested she return to selling subway tickets, which Fu Zi refused. He then surprisingly praised Hao Zeyu, saying he was a good person despite not being smart. When Fu Zi asked if Hao Zeyu had "drugged" him, Fu Papa revealed that Hao Zeyu had saved him during an asthma attack at the police station. Hearing this, Fu Zi’s attitude softened, and she immediately offered to wash the car, urging her father to rest.
Later, Fu Zi excitedly reported to Niu Meili that she had secured a re-audition for the dog food advertisement, despite Hao Zeyu’s previous failed attempt and his fight with her father. Just then, Hao Zeyu arrived. Niu Meili tried to coerce Fu Zi into buying a used lipstick from her. Fu Zi threatened to quit if forced. Niu Meili then dismissed Fu Zi, saying she had private matters to discuss with Hao Zeyu. Fu Zi, however, hid and eavesdropped.
Niu Meili presented Hao Zeyu with a termination agreement, telling him he could sign and be free, though he’d owe a penalty that could take years to pay off. Hao Zeyu was surprised, recalling Niu Meili's earlier pleas for cooperation and her statement that he was "family." Niu Meili explained she had saved his face in front of Fu Zi and Fu Papa, her only family in Beijing, but she wouldn’t tolerate him disrespecting them.
Hao Zeyu reiterated that he only wanted to act and make Teng Dan regret her actions. Niu Meili then showed him a business card holder, claiming the cards represented valuable connections she had built in the industry. She promised that if he endured the dog food ad today, she would try to secure a proper acting opportunity for him tomorrow. Hao Zeyu, determined to "live like a man," agreed. Niu Meili revealed she had already saved the audition yesterday.
Overhearing this, Fu Zi tried to leave, but Niu Meili called her back. They argued briefly about commission before Hao Zeyu accidentally kicked Fu Zi, and they both left for the audition. Alone, Niu Meili confessed her internal struggle, admitting that the "connections" she had shown Hao Zeyu were actually fake, and she felt immense pressure not to ruin his future.
At the dog food advertisement shoot, the director instructed Hao Zeyu to eat the dog food while delivering his lines. Fu Zi, who was present, protested that it wasn’t human food. However, Hao Zeyu, driven by Teng Dan’s past cutting remarks about his acting abilities, declared he could do it and would outperform any dog. He insisted that once he got into the role, the dog food tasted like delicacies.
The director was impressed, ordering more bowls of different flavors for Hao Zeyu to consume. After the shoot, Hao Zeyu was seen in the restroom, vomiting. The advertising team thanked him for his dedication and presented him with two bags of dog food, assuring him it contained real beef and was safe even for humans to eat. Fu Zi was enraged, expressing her disgust and stating she would tell Niu Meili to stop accepting such degrading jobs.
Hao Zeyu, however, insisted he was a professional actor and that eating dog food was "no big deal." Fu Zi then complained to Niu Meili about the "evil" director, but Niu Meili calmly explained that aspiring actors must endure trials, and Hao Zeyu himself didn’t seem to mind. Hao Zeyu asked Niu Meili when he would finally get to "act properly." Fu Zi suggested using Niu Meili's "many directors" contacts from her business card holder, unaware they were fake.
Niu Meili evasively replied that Hao Zeyu was still in his early stages and needed to follow a progression. Fu Zi then proposed getting funds for promo photos and even suggested hiring a bodyguard and driver, but Niu Meili refused, citing a lack of money.
Soon after, Niu Meili received a phone call from the dog food director, who attempted to negotiate a lower fee for Hao Zeyu, callously stating it didn't matter if a human or a dog filmed the ad, and referred to Hao Zeyu as a "clip doll" star who would quickly fade. Enraged, Niu Meili fiercely defended Hao Zeyu's dignity, declaring that no one but her could insult her artist, and she refused to proceed with the ad.
She then slammed down her phone in frustration, immediately worrying about Hao Zeyu's future and contemplating if she should indeed hire him a driver and bodyguard. Later, as Hao Zeyu and Fu Zi walked, he expressed curiosity about her volatile personality, noting her morning anger contrasted with her afternoon support. Fu Zi reminded him of his determination to succeed and make Teng Dan regret her words.
Hao Zeyu told her not to mention Teng Dan, asserting that he remembered her words perfectly well and that was his motivation for eating all that dog food. He walked away, but Fu Zi called out to his retreating figure, assuring him that he would achieve anything others could, that life was a struggle, and his good days were still ahead. Back at his apartment, Hao Zeyu contemplated cooking some dumplings, reflecting on the day's events.
His friend, Gao Tian, unexpectedly arrived with a bowl of hot oil noodles, explaining that his acting skills had allowed him to finish his recent filming early. Gao Tian shared a philosophical view on acting, comparing it to making noodles—requiring earnest, step-by-step effort. He advised Hao Zeyu that there were no small roles and that sincerity would always be seen by the audience. Hao Zeyu asked for advice on how to approach directors.
Gao Tian emphasized professionalism and friendliness, advising that a sincere and pleasant demeanor would always be welcomed. Hao Zeyu took this to heart, playfully suggesting he'd call directors "little brother." The next morning, Fu Zi frantically burst into Niu Meili's office, exclaiming that Hao Zeyu had disappeared. Niu Meili remained surprisingly calm, joking that she would simply buy a dog if Hao Zeyu truly vanished.
However, Hao Zeyu, having taken Gao Tian's advice, had proactively sought out the dog food director. With a polite and understanding approach, he convinced the director of his deep grasp of the script's "personification" concept and even claimed to be a dog owner. Impressed, the director not only reinstated Hao Zeyu for the advertisement but also added a real dog as his co-star, with an increased fee.
Hao Zeyu excitedly returned with the signed contract and the dog, confidently telling Niu Meili not to arbitrarily accept or refuse jobs on his behalf anymore. Niu Meili was astonished by his newfound ambition. Hao Zeyu explained his dual motivation: the need for money to repay debts and his genuine desire to act. He introduced the dog as his advertising "partner," a "superstar among dogs."
Unable to care for it himself, Hao Zeyu entrusted the dog to Fu Zi, who reluctantly agreed, despite complaining about always cleaning up his messes. Hao Zeyu, seeing Fu Zi take the dog, was reminded of her encouraging words from the previous night, filling him with a sense of hope for the future. Meanwhile, Niu Meili visited Fu Papa.
She brought up the topic of Fu Zi's future and marriage, with Fu Papa agreeing that his house could be Fu Zi's dowry when the time came. Niu Meili then subtly proposed that Fu Papa could work as Hao Zeyu’s bodyguard and driver, suggesting it would give him something to do and earn money. Fu Papa was offended by the idea of him and his daughter serving Hao Zeyu, and told Niu Meili to leave.
As Niu Meili left the Hutong, she accidentally bumped into an older man who was initially irate but quickly became smitten by her. He claimed to be Fu Papa's friend, and Niu Meili kindly helped him with a band-aid for a minor injury on his neck. Later, Fu Zi took Hao Zeyu to a store to buy clothes for his promotional photoshoot. She instructed him to act as if they were regular, sophisticated shoppers, then revealed that the clothes could be returned as long as the tags remained intact.
