Modern woman Ma Qianqiu time-travels into an ancient princess and unexpectedly becomes entangled in a power struggle. She and the cunning General Qin Che go from mutual suspicion to joining forces against the tyrant Ma Yangfei and the Beiyu faction. Pretending to be a couple to handle public opinion, they uncover Qin Che’s mysterious origins and his mother’s wrongful case, but face scheming from Beiyu princes Kang He and Nali.
After enduring assassination attempts, poisoning, and marriage contract crises, Ma Qianqiu realizes Qin Che has been using her for revenge. Just as her heart breaks, the system notifies her that the mission is complete. In the end, they clear up misunderstandings, and Ma Qianqiu chooses to stay for three days out of love, leaving behind a tragic romance that transcends time, caught between political intrigue and deep affection.
