Sugar and Lies
Sugar and Lies is a romance short drama, directed by Wang Zi, starring Ke Chun and Yu Yin, with supporting performances by Jiang Yunlin, Yu Cong, Chen Lanlan, Xu Lingruo, and Gan Wangxing.
The series tells the story of childhood sweethearts Ding Dang and Chen A Ming, who reunite years after being separated in their youth, only to become a “limited-time couple” by a twist of fate. As schemes and secrets intertwine, their feelings for each other gradually begin to change.

On the eve of her engagement, Ding Dang reunites with her first love, Chen A Ming—only to discover that he has changed his name to Yu Kun and taken on a new identity.
In order to heal Chen A Ming’s dissociative identity disorder caused by a failed experiment, Ding Dang and her friends secretly devise a plan called “Sugar Coating,” guiding him to confront the painful wounds of his past and break free from the emotional and fragmented memories that have torn him apart.
