The daughter of a noble family, Su Leyu, was raised under the guidance of the Empress and grew up sharing a deep bond with Prince Ji, Yin Changyan. However, Yin Changyan staged a coup to seize the throne and married her to consolidate his power.
After being granted the title of Virtuous Consort, Su Leyu continued to uphold the late emperor’s vision, overcoming countless obstacles to realize Da Cang’s political ideal of “equality regardless of gender and inclusiveness of all.” In the end, she uncovered the truth behind the coup and, together with Yin Changyan, stepped into the game, joining forces to dismantle the old powers and usher in a new order for Da Cang.
