They are brought together by a soul-guiding lantern and embark on a mysterious and romantic journey of demon hunting, gradually uncovering the bond between them from a past life.

Synopsis
Yan Qige, a demon hunter under a curse, and Yu Sang, a bamboo demon hoping to resurrect her people, become connected through a soul-guiding lantern.
Yan Qige is actually a marginalized prince of the Great Yan royal family and shares a blood pact with the lantern. Yu Sang was once a princess of the Fengjian clan but was reborn as a bamboo demon after a family catastrophe. Her wish to revive her people is tied to Yan Qige's actions in a past life.
The two share a fate spanning three thousand years, which leads to the revelation of an ancient secret. Through a series of events, they uncover their past connection. Their relationship evolves from opposition to love. In the end, they sacrifice themselves to the soul-guiding lantern to break the cycle of karma and fate.
