He discovers his new wife Jiang Yan (Anne Joplin), a childhood friend, and sets out to uncover his mysterious origins. With his newfound skills, he wins over the family and grows closer to Jiang Yan, all while sensing that He Jiarong’s past holds deep secrets.

Synopsis
Lin Yu sacrifices himself to save others, but gains the legacy of an ancient master, becoming a master of both medical and martial arts. He then inhabits the body of a comatose man named He Jiarong (Riley Hunt).
He discovers that He Jiarong is married to Jiang Yan (Anne Joplin), a childhood friend and adopted son-in-law of the Yue family. However, because of his meek and timid nature, He Jiarong has long been looked down upon by those around him.
Lin Yu promises to uncover the mystery of He Jiarong's true origins and to take care of Jiang Yan. Together, they attend an antique appraisal fair, where he makes a bet with Jiang Yan's ex-boyfriend and wins, gradually changing the Jiang family's opinion of him. As he delves deeper, Lin Yu begins to realize that He Jiarong's background is far more complicated than it seems.
