Li Shendong, having reconciled with his father, decided to move back home. As he packed his belongings, Han Qilu's mother, Yuanyuan, expressed her sadness, lamenting that she would no longer get to taste his delicious cooking. Li Shendong presented her with a handwritten recipe book, explaining it contained her favorite dishes, as well as An Chuxia's and Han Qilu's, and suggested she could ask their cook to prepare them.

Yuanyuan told Li Shendong she would miss him, and he reciprocated, before they bid each other goodbye. Ming Yuan reflected on her teacher's critique, who found her recent jewelry designs disappointing and urged her to learn from An Chuxia, whose work, the teacher noted, conveyed hope and love. Ming Yuan, already feeling frustrated, was further provoked by Nangong Yin.

Nangong Yin maliciously remarked on the unfairness of fate, contrasting Ming Yuan's struggles with An Chuxia's happiness, even sarcastically correcting herself to say An Chuxia was picked up by her "husband." Ming Yuan angrily retorted, calling Nangong Yin and her friends "hangers-on." One of Nangong Yin's companions called Ming Yuan a "pauper," and Nangong Yin deemed Ming Yuan pitiful, while another companion commented on her growing temper. Ming Yuan, unable to endure the taunts, tore her drawing and left.

While An Chuxia was recovering in the hospital from her accident, a friend visited and was grateful for the food, lamenting that An Chuxia hadn't told her about the accident. Han Qilu arrived, bringing a meal for An Chuxia. Although she initially claimed not to be hungry, she candidly admitted his cooking wasn't very tasty but appreciated his effort.

Han Qilu jokingly referred to himself as a "Perfect Deity," a title given by his "fan club," to which An Chuxia teased him about the group's "leader" (herself, whose leg was bandaged and unwashed). Han Qilu then shared good news, informing her that despite missing the actual audition to be with her, the director had seen his casting video and hired him for a shooting the next day.

An Chuxia was relieved, expressing guilt that he might have missed the opportunity because of her. Later, the butler informed An Chuxia that Han Qilu's new role involved intimate scenes with the popular actress Zhu Lili, known for her revealing attire and numerous romantic scandals. An Chuxia was shocked, recalling Han Qilu's earlier statement about playing "buddies" with a male actor, and immediately rushed to the studio.

At the studio, Zhu Lili tried to initiate intimate scenes with Han Qilu during rehearsal. When a crew member suggested using 'angle shots' for the scene, Zhu Lili questioned Han Qilu's professionalism. Han Qilu then clarified that his only condition in the contract was to avoid kissing or sex scenes. He apologized if this offended her, assuring her he would complete the plot.

Zhu Lili, however, questioned how their film, "The Demon Girl Pushes Me Down," could attract an audience without such scenes. His stance was met with enthusiastic cheers from his numerous fans. Observing this, An Chuxia felt a sense of relief but was also surprised by the sheer number of Han Qilu's supporters. She overheard others mentioning his upcoming collaboration with the famous artist Cui Xia, speculating that his fanbase would only continue to grow.

Back at school, during her jewellery design class, An Chuxia arrived late but was commended by the teacher, who announced that her design would be featured in the main display cabinet. Nangong Yin, however, made snide remarks, suggesting An Chuxia, as Han Qilu's fiancée, wouldn't care about such recognition. Meanwhile, Li Shendong, also in the class, was working on miniature chef-themed accessories.

He shared with An Chuxia his revised plans: he would complete his studies at Sheng De College before going to France to study at Le Cordon Bleu, aiming to become a "cultured chef." Observing An Chuxia's distracted state, Ming Yuan correctly deduced she was worried about Han Qilu at the film set. Ming Yuan generously offered to help An Chuxia with the initial melting of her design materials so she could go to the set immediately.

Grateful, An Chuxia thanked Ming Yuan and left. Upon arriving at the film set, An Chuxia inadvertently sat in Zhu Lili's chair. Zhu Lili's assistant promptly confronted her, asking who she was and scolding her for taking Zhu Lili's seat. When An Chuxia tried to explain she was there for Han Qilu, Zhu Lili interjected, mistakenly assuming An Chuxia was Han Qilu's assistant.

Zhu Lili then imperiously ordered An Chuxia to fetch her a coffee, arguing that Han Qilu was busy filming and wouldn't need his assistant. An Chuxia questioned why Zhu Lili's own assistant couldn't do it, but the assistant sided with Zhu Lili, claiming it was An Chuxia's "honor" to help. Annoyed, An Chuxia agreed to get the coffee.

An Chuxia, despite her annoyance, brought Zhu Lili a coffee, only for Zhu Lili to demand a different flavor and then a fresh-ground one. When An Chuxia returned with the new coffee, a small boy suddenly appeared, claiming Zhu Lili had bullied An Chuxia and splashed coffee on her. Zhu Lili vehemently denied this and quickly left for her next scene. An Chuxia, realizing the boy had intervened to help her, discovered he had no name.

Later, Zhu Lili approached Han Qilu while he was eating, questioning why he was dining with his "assistant" instead of her. Han Qilu immediately corrected her, declaring An Chuxia as his girlfriend. The little boy reappeared, calling An Chuxia "mother." Han Qilu's mother, Yuanyuan, was captivated by the child and affectionately named him "Chu Qi." However, when Han Qilu proposed taking the "disobedient" boy to the police station, the child vehemently refused.

Yuanyuan, having grown fond of Chu Qi, insisted he stay at their home, playfully threatening Han Qilu with moving out himself if he disagreed. At home, Chu Qi consistently called An Chuxia "Chuxia Mummy" but referred to Han Qilu and the butler as "Uncle Han" and "Uncle," much to Han Qilu's dismay. Later, Han Qilu headed to the film set, and Chu Qi convinced An Chuxia to join them, claiming it would make her happy.

At the set, a new problem arose: the lead actress for the next scene was late, leaving the director frustrated. Chu Qi piped up, suggesting An Chuxia fill in, believing her to be perfect for the part. The director, after observing An Chuxia, agreed and pulled her onto the set. He demonstrated the scene from "The Demon Girl Pushes Me Down," emphasizing the need to convey a "heartbreaking and hurried" push.

Han Qilu and An Chuxia then performed the melodramatic dialogue. In one take, Han Qilu's character pleaded, "We can't do this. If we do this, what about your mother? It's alright, she'll just lose one of her legs. But, I will lose my love. I can't let you go again." An Chuxia's character responded, "But, how can you, equally broken, push down me, who is also equally broken?"

The director wasn't satisfied with the script's lines, but after a quick discussion with the scriptwriter, they decided to proceed. In the next attempt, Han Qilu's character cried, "Tell me why! Why? Why?" and An Chuxia's character retorted, "But I can't say it! I just can't say it!" Han Qilu's character insisted, "I want you to say it! Say it now!" and An Chuxia's character exclaimed, "Don't do this to me! Please." This time, the director was delighted, exclaiming, "That's it! That's the feeling we want! Passed! Perfect! Awesome!"
