Han Qilu woke up startled from a dream where An Chuxia demanded all his kisses. He questioned if the previous night’s kiss from An Chuxia had also been a dream. Meanwhile, An Chuxia suffered from a headache and couldn't remember how she had returned home. At breakfast, Qin Qing noticed the smell of alcohol on An Chuxia, which only further solidified Grandma's dislike for her.
Grandma then presented two movie tickets to Han Qilu, insisting he take Qin Qing to the movies after school. Despite his initial reluctance, Han Qilu ultimately accepted the tickets under his Grandma’s stern gaze. Later, a maid named Lili showed a CCTV recording from the previous night. The footage clearly showed a drunken An Chuxia kissing Han Qilu at the door. Lili was delighted, but Han Qilu was aghast, realizing that the kiss was not a dream. "

Seeing the video, An Chuxia felt secretly thrilled. Later at school, An Chuxia attempted to chat with Ming Yuan, but Li Shendong warned her to avoid Ming Yuan without providing a clear reason, leaving An Chuxia confused.
An Chuxia told Li Shendong that she had made "great progress" with Han Qilu the night before, a revelation that visibly unsettled Li Shendong. Qin Qing eventually caught up with Han Qilu and insisted he watch a movie with her. She then requested he kiss her in the same way he had kissed An Chuxia. Han Qilu, thinking kissing was no big deal, didn't resist as Qin Qing leaned in.
Just as their lips were about to meet, An Chuxia and Li Shendong arrived, interrupting the scene. Qin Qing nonchalantly remarked that "kissing is no big deal," which upset An Chuxia. Seeing An Chuxia’s distress, Li Shendong pulled Han Qilu aside and demanded he apologize, threatening to end their friendship if he refused. Han Qilu initially protested, but under Li Shendong’s unwavering threat, he reluctantly agreed, stating, "I will apologize to Chuxia."
An Chuxia, seemingly enjoying Han Qilu's reluctant compliance, led him to a street food stall outside school. He initially found the place unhygienic, but after tasting the food, admitted it was "not bad." He asked if she would forgive him, but An Chuxia, feigning hunger and a sore arm, made him blow on her hot noodles and then feed her. As he did, An Chuxia surprised him by suddenly leaning in and kissing him.
Later, as Han Qilu cycled her home, An Chuxia quietly murmured, "Qilu, hurry up get well soon. I can't stand it anymore." Han Qilu, however, didn't fully hear her. Han Qilu sought advice from Feng Shao, who suggested that a public apology would guarantee forgiveness, as women are often hesitant to refuse in front of a crowd.
Conveniently, school leaders then asked Han Qilu to give a speech as an outstanding student representative at an assembly attended by the entire school. Seizing the opportunity, Han Qilu took the stage. He addressed An Chuxia, stating that Li Shendong had told him she was his fiancée and that he should treat her well. However, Han Qilu listed his grievances, describing An Chuxia as "bad-tempered," always having "a fierce look on your face," and constantly "torturing me."
He confessed that he didn't know "how to treat a person nicely" and "always make mistakes." He then directly asked her, "I am so cute. Can you please forgive me? If you accept my apology now, I'll try to treat you nicely in the future." An Chuxia, beaming with joy, took the microphone and declared, "Han Qilu, you are not good. You used to rampage without fearing anyone else, and always get jealous.
But I love you as long as I am breathing." She then announced, "Alright, your girlfriend is forgiving you now," and asked him for "a big hug." As Han Qilu moved to embrace her, the dean unexpectedly rushed onto the stage and proposed to a female colleague, Hao Mei, completely stealing the spotlight from Han Qilu and An Chuxia. The dean's proposal was successful, and everyone was invited to celebrate with a dance.
An Chuxia, noticing Han Qilu’s discomfort with dancing, patiently taught him. As they danced happily, a news report suddenly flashed across a large screen, announcing a major scandal. Jiang He, the CEO of Jiang's Group, was revealed to have an illegitimate daughter, identified in the news as An Chuxia, who had only been acknowledged by Jiang He upon her high school graduation. Han Qilu, bewildered by the term, turned to An Chuxia and asked, "What is an illegitimate child?" An Chuxia's face turned grim, while the surrounding students looked on in shock.
