Li Shendong playfully embraced An Chuxia and asked if she was "falling for Dongdong." Han Qilu happened to pass by and misunderstood the situation. He told An Chuxia she didn't need to explain, but she retorted, "What do you want me to explain? First time, it was an accident, but not for the second time. You're unreasonable." Angered, Han Qilu left.
After he was gone, An Chuxia confronted Li Shendong, accusing him of harming her twice, but Li Shendong didn't care. Li Shendong is a popular student because of his good looks and the fact that his father is the chairman of the school board. He and three other students are known as the "Sheng De Four Young Masters" and are used to getting their way at school.
Bai Qiuzi, Li Shendong's sworn sister and a national Judo champion, returned to school. She announced her championship victory and boasted that if she had participated in the military training, she would have been the "warrior". Annoyed, Li Shendong dismissed her and ordered his friends to find Han Qilu and An Chuxia. Bai Qiuzi vowed to find and physically confront whoever defeated her brother in the military training. Han Qilu and An Chuxia awkwardly encountered each other in the canteen.
Li Shendong and his companions arrived, drawing attention. Li Shendong then challenged them, issuing an ultimatum: they either drop out or he would make them. Han Qilu left without acknowledging him. Many students sided with Li Shendong and began isolating An Chuxia. She became the target of various pranks, including having her chair glued to the floor. During class, Nangong Yin maliciously called on An Chuxia when the teacher, Guo Si, asked for an example of a "faithful artist."
Despite her predicament, An Chuxia calmly provided "Monet" as an answer. Later, Han Qilu, who had specifically come to school looking for An Chuxia, encountered her. He explained he hadn't gone to England for economics because he couldn't pursue astronomy there simultaneously. When An Chuxia questioned why he chose Sheng De, he replied it was for the double-degree program. As she prepared to leave, Han Qilu added, "There's another reason. I'll not let off Li Shendong." Their relationship remained strained.
Li Shendong's friends suggested he might be attracted to An Chuxia. Li Shendong denied it. His friends advised him on how to pursue any girl, emphasizing "Intelligence, plan, and Romantic scenes." Li Shendong offered An Chuxia a luxury sports car and suggested he could be her driver or "boyfriend." An Chuxia rejected the idea. Undeterred, Li Shendong presented her with a grand bouquet of roses. Just as Han Qilu passed by, An Chuxia accepted the roses.
Li Shendong was convinced by this. However, An Chuxia proceeded to distribute the roses to other students. Despite this, An Chuxia's actions only seemed to further intrigue Li Shendong, who declared, "An Chuxia, You have successfully attracted me." Meanwhile, Nangong Yin and her group were furious upon hearing that Li Shendong was "into" An Chuxia, and that An Chuxia had "dare[d] to turn him down." Nangong Yin vowed revenge, declaring, "An Chuxia, we'll see."
Li Shendong made a grand public confession beneath An Chuxia's dormitory window, offering her "a chance to be my girlfriend." Han Qilu appeared, demanding to know what he was doing. Li Shendong stated he was making a "love confession." Han Qilu called him "sick." As Han Qilu ordered him to stop, claiming, "She is my girlfriend," An Chuxia immediately corrected him from her window, shouting, "No, I'm not his girlfriend anymore."
Taking advantage of the situation, Li Shendong pressed An Chuxia to "make a choice." An Chuxia called for Li Shendong to "step forward and let's have a talk," then promptly doused him with a basin of cold water. She warned him, "Stop disturbing me in the future. Or else I'll call the police." News of Li Shendong being doused with water spread quickly. Soon after, Bai Qiuzi confronted An Chuxia, introducing herself as "Dong Dong's sworn sister."
An Chuxia referred to Li Shendong as "that stinking man," which angered Bai Qiuzi. An Chuxia clarified that she had "no interest" or "feeling" for Li Shendong. Skeptical, Bai Qiuzi demanded An Chuxia sign an "Application of staying away from Li Shendong," threatening that if she "breach[ed] the contract," she would "be killed by a pig." Later, Han Qilu confronted Li Shendong, declaring, "Li Shendong, three strikes and you are out. You have touched my baseline.
Don't touch my…" When Li Shendong interjected, "Your wife?" , Han Qilu corrected him, "My ex." He then warned Li Shendong, "From now on, She is my girl. You are not allowed to touch her even though she is my ex." Li Shendong, however, remained defiant.
