He told her plainly to stop her performance in front of him. The next day, Ah Sheng continued to play on Xin Mei’s guilt, claiming she was plagued by nightmares of the cave. As they prepared to depart, Xin Mei urged Lu Qianqiao to take care of himself and stay in touch through spirit projection.
