Nangong Yin recalled her parents' words, who, facing imminent bankruptcy, had urged her to seek help from An Chuxia and Han Qilu, the wealthiest students at school, to revive their family business. After much internal struggle, Nangong Yin finally found the courage to apologize to An Chuxia. She approached An Chuxia, surprising her, and confessed that her past actions had caused pain, hoping An Chuxia would not harbor resentment.

An Chuxia, however, stated that she would not forgive Nangong Yin immediately, explaining that she needed time to process and heal from the hurt inflicted upon her. Nangong Yin thanked An Chuxia for her understanding, but because of her past behavior, she still couldn't bring herself to ask An Chuxia for help with her family's financial issues. Later, Ming Yuan, encountering Nangong Yin, openly mocked her, expressing her delight that Nangong Yin was now suffering as she once had.

Ming Yuan even declared she wanted to celebrate with champagne. Nangong Yin retorted, questioning Ming Yuan's ability to afford champagne and reminding her that her wealth was now a thing of the past. Nangong Yin further criticized Ming Yuan's hypocrisy, revealing that she knew Ming Yuan secretly despised An Chuxia despite pretending to be close friends. Ming Yuan, exposed, grew furious but had no recourse against Nangong Yin, who warned her to be careful not to go crazy.

Nangong Yin informed Feng Shao that she was leaving and gave him a ring she had designed, asking him to open it after she was gone and not to misunderstand her intentions. She confessed to feeling arrogant and annoying, but now, having lost everything, she could be honest. Before leaving, she asked Feng Shao for his inexpensive harmonica, stating she would no longer be afraid of frogs, a reference to an earlier inside joke.

Feng Shao later realized the ring fit his finger perfectly, leading him to wonder if Nangong Yin truly liked him, despite their seemingly different worlds. A friend advised him that love needed no reason. In class, the teacher announced Nangong Yin's transfer to a school abroad. While most students were indifferent, An Chuxia felt a pang of regret. Meanwhile, Kou Yi, who secretly admired Ming Yuan, became concerned after finding her paintings disturbingly macabre.

One night, worried about her, he broke into the girls' dormitory. Despite being scolded by the dorm supervisor, he remained unfazed. He woke Ming Yuan, who, in a delusional state, called out Han Qilu's name. Kou Yi was shocked when Ming Yuan openly confessed her deep affection for Han Qilu, revealing her intense obsession and disdain for Kou Yi's feelings.

Outside the dorm, Kou Yi declared his love for Ming Yuan to Li Shendong and their friends, demanding they not speak ill of her. The school was gripped by fear due to rumors of a "pervert" attacking a female student in the dorm, whose surveillance footage had mysteriously been deleted, suggesting an inside job. Some students wished Nangong Yin were still there to protect them.

The former student union president, Ouyang Hao, returned to deliver a report, urging students not to believe in rumors. During his visit, a student named Mo Gu was seen holding a camera, seemingly captivated by Ouyang Hao, and later, Bai Qiuzi noticed her crying, though Mo Gu claimed she was fine. Due to the incidents, Bai Xue organized a girl's self-defence camp, with Ouyang Hao, a martial arts practitioner, joining to help teach.

He complimented Bai Xue on her continued skill, mentioning his own boxing training abroad. An Chuxia visited Ming Yuan, who was intensely focused on her painting, neglecting her health. An Chuxia expressed concern for her friend's health as Ming Yuan was intensely focused on her painting, almost injuring An Chuxia in her agitated state. An Chuxia then shared good news: participating in student union activities could increase scholarship chances.

She revealed that she had asked Ouyang Hao to make Ming Yuan his assistant for an upcoming art exhibition, a suggestion Ouyang Hao had approved after reviewing Ming Yuan's work. Ming Yuan was deeply touched, questioning An Chuxia why she was so kind, to which An Chuxia simply replied that they were friends. An Chuxia urged Ming Yuan to rest, noting her tired appearance and reminding her of the meeting with Ouyang Hao.

Han Qilu visited An Chuxia at the taekwondo club, where they affectionately interacted in front of Ming Yuan, further fueling Ming Yuan's jealousy. Later, during archery practice, Han Qilu patiently guided An Chuxia, instructing her to align her eyes, bow sight, and target into one line, which resulted in a perfect shot. Ming Yuan later visited Ouyang Hao's home to discuss the exhibition. Ouyang Hao expressed admiration for her artwork and generously offered her some of his music collection.

He reassured her of his support, saying he would help her because she was An Chuxia's friend. While Ouyang Hao stepped away to retrieve an artwork Ming Yuan had left behind previously, Ming Yuan inadvertently discovered something disturbing in his collection. She left Ouyang Hao's house visibly shaken and dejected. When An Chuxia and her friends tried to invite her to eat, Ming Yuan, citing a dead phone and a night shift at the bar, declined, appearing oddly detached.

An Chuxia dismissed her friend's observation that Ming Yuan seemed strange, attributing it to her poor health. Desperate, Ming Yuan approached Kou Yi, offering to accept his feelings if he would perform one task for her. Kou Yi eagerly agreed to anything. Ming Yuan then instructed him to deliver a fabricated love letter to the campus radio station. Kou Yi, heartbroken but compliant, carried out her request and later sought solace in a bar.

The "Campus Voice" broadcast began, announcing a love letter from An Chuxia. Han Qilu listened, initially pleased to hear An Chuxia's name, but his joy turned to surprise and disbelief when the letter concluded by expressing love for Li Shendong. Simultaneously, An Chuxia, while listening to music, suddenly collapsed.
