An Chuxia was starting her university life at Sheng De College. Because of her poor family background, she had to ask a junk collector to take her to school. Her arrival on a tricycle carrying her luggage drew strange looks from the other female students. Nangong Yin mocked Chuxia for arriving in a junk collector's vehicle, saying it damaged Sheng De College's image. Chuxia, angered by the remark, asked the junk collector to leave immediately.

Later, Nangong Yin encountered Ming Yuan, who carried the same luxury bag as her, but Nangong Yin didn't pay much attention to her. Ming Yuan greeted Nangong Yin, but Nangong Yin ignored her. Han Qilu drove to school in a luxury sports car. His mother called, ordering him to bring An Chuxia back, or he was dead. A waitress offered to deliver food to her room, giving her the room card. A foreign woman, attracted to Li Shendong, inquired about his room number. The waitress mistakenly gave her An Chuxia's room card. The foreign woman entered the room, startling Han Qilu, who had just finished showering. An Chuxia saw the foreign woman in Han Qilu's room and wrongly accused him of cheating. Upset, she went to the beach to clear her head.

A foreign man offered her drinks, intending to take advantage of her. An Chuxia drank with the man. Li Shendong happened to pass by and intervened, taking the drunk An Chuxia back to a room. An Chuxia mistook Li Shendong for Han Qilu and asked him to hug her. Han Qilu found An Chuxia in the adjacent hotel room with Li Shendong. He became angry, accusing her of trying to get back at him.

An Chuxia explained what happened and pushed Li Shendong away. Li Shendong said that Han Qilu was overreacting because he would never be interested in An Chuxia. An enraged Han Qilu started a fight with Li Shendong. After the fight stopped, An Chuxia explained that the waitress had offered her the drink because she was upset. Han Qilu called An Chuxia stupid for drinking a stranger's drink.

An Chuxia reminded Han Qilu that he didn't even go after her when she left the hotel room. Han Qilu reminded her that he did look for her. Han Qilu asked where her engagement ring was. After finding out that she didn't have it, Han Qilu said that she obviously didn't take their engagement seriously. He broke up with her.

An Chuxia settled into the school dormitory. She received a video call from her old friends, Xiao Nan and Chen Chuan, who were abroad. They inquired about her decision not to go to France as planned, suggesting it was because of Han Qilu. An Chuxia denied this, asserting that the design department at Sheng De College was also excellent.

Internally, she recalled a heated argument with Han Qilu where their trust broke down, leading to cries of "Let's break up," and "Whatever," a memory that still pained her. Han Qilu arrived at the school to register, only to find the classrooms empty. A school staff member informed him that all students were participating in military training.

Both An Chuxia and Li Shendong expressed their displeasure at being paired together. Li Shendong immediately abandoned the team to act alone, prompting An Chuxia to comment that his approach was more like a warlord than a true hero. During the competition, Li Shendong discovered An Chuxia hiding. He taunted her.

An Chuxia again called him a "stinking hooligan" and angrily demanded if he felt any guilt for "what happened the other day." Li Shendong dismissed her question, noting that she was "still alive here," prompting An Chuxia to declare that she would remember his "great kindness" forever. Don't touch my…" When Li Shendong interjected, "Your wife?" , Han Qilu corrected him, "My ex." He then warned Li Shendong, "From now on, She is my girl. You are not allowed to touch her even though she is my ex." Li Shendong, however, remained defiant.

An Chuxia, feeling bored with university life, discusses joining a club with her friends. Bai Xue appears, inviting An Chuxia to join her Judo Club, since other clubs are wary of accepting her because of Li Shendong's expulsion order. " An Chuxia, this is your last chance," Bai Xue says, "You're listed in the expulsion order. No one dares to take you except me."

An Chuxia initially declines but is impressed by Bai Xue's display of strength when she takes down a thief, prompting her to join the Judo Club. Unbeknownst to An Chuxia, the thief Bai Xue defeated was none other than Mr. Yang, who harbors a secret crush on Bai Xue. He staged the incident to help her recruit members. Bai Xue expresses her gratitude, and Mr. Yang happily offers to continue helping her next year if necessary.

Meanwhile, Bai Qiuzi, a devoted admirer of Li Shendong, constantly trails after him, much to his annoyance. His friends suggest she should cause trouble for Han Qilu, thus getting rid of both Qilu and Qiuzi from Shendong’s life. Bai Qiuzi confronts Han Qilu but is immediately captivated by his charm, and she finds herself speechless in his presence. Bai Qiuzi nearly gets hit by someone, but Han Qilu prevents it, further fueling her infatuation.

Li Shendong continues to pursue An Chuxia, even attending her classes. He questions her fascination with Mr. Guo's lectures, feeling ignored. An Chuxia retorts, comparing Mr. Guo’s talent and handsomeness with Li Shendong’s shallowness, even calling him "ugly." When An Chuxia falls, Li Shendong intends to help her, but Han Qilu intervenes, carrying her back to the dorm, much to Li Shendong's frustration.

Han Qilu’s professor was impressed by Han Qilu’s profound research report on astronomy published in Nature magazine and informed him that the university will give him recognition after several days. Han Qilu delivers an astronomy lecture, gazing at An Chuxia as he speaks romantically about finding someone who ends loneliness, confessing that finding a star is easier than finding that person.

During the lecture, Bai Qiuzi interrupts and publicly confesses her feelings for Han Qilu, stating that she likes him more than he likes the stars. An Chuxia is taken aback. Later, An Chuxia passes by the basketball court, where Li Shendong assumes she came to watch him play, leading to another misunderstanding. In class, Li Shendong asks An Chuxia for her contact information, but Han Qilu intentionally provides a fake number.

Li Shendong, seeing Han Qilu as a rival, was advised by his friends to pursue An Chuxia in order to make Han Qilu jealous. They suggested that Li Shendong should perform well at the upcoming amity party and also embarrass Han Qilu.

Li Shendong's friends put Han Qilu's name on the list for the upcoming amity party. They figured that since Han Qilu was a bookworm, he wouldn't have any talents to showcase. One day, Li Shendong confronted a male student who owed Mo Gu money and refused to pay it back. An Chuxia witnessed the scene and, misunderstanding his intentions, scolded Li Shendong for his behavior, accusing him of being thick-skinned and full of himself.

Han Qilu suggested Li Shendong's subconscious might have led him to the book, or that he secretly wished to be a "house husband." Li Shendong offered to teach Han Qilu how to cook, but Han Qilu declined, preferring a "rigorous studying method" from books. Han Qilu then decided to cook for An Chuxia again.

He intercepted a delivery person outside An Chuxia's studio, offering to deliver her takeout himself.
