He Xingxing, a young office worker who has just entered the workforce, suddenly finds herself transported into a CEO romance mini-drama. Unfortunately, she is cast as a cannon-fodder character destined to inherit wealth, rise in status, and outlive her husband—only to die young herself. Determined to rewrite her fate, He Xingxing plans to live a quiet life, enjoying the fortune left behind by her husband's family.
But her plan is shattered when her husband, Jiang Huaining, who was presumed dead three years ago, unexpectedly returns. Fortunately, he has lost part of his memory. To secure her place in the Jiang family, He Xingxing decides to take a gamble and keep up the lie. She shamelessly claims that they were once deeply in love, spinning one romantic story after another.
As her acting skills become more convincing by the day, Jiang Huaining gradually starts believing her. Just when everything seems to be going according to plan, he suddenly regains his memories—and the truth she has been hiding is about to catch up with her.
