Jiang Shan Wei Pin is a historical romance series directed by Zhang Yanjie, starring Wu Jinyan, Chen Zheyuan, Liang Yongqi, Zhao Zhaoyi, and Zhang Nan in leading roles, featuring Guo Pinchao, Sheng Yilun, Wu Dirong, Huang Zuxin and Song Qi.
Adapted from Xing Yanyan's novel of the same title, the series follows Meng Tinghui, a street orphan, makes history by becoming Daning's first female "Triple First" scholar. Assuming a key position in the Court of Oversight, she joins the young emperor Ying Gua to check the power of two chancellors. Together, they also operate as sword-wielding vigilantes, launching a "storm against corruption" throughout the court and the common world.
