In order to save her family’s company from collapse, Shen Lanyue (Luna Sterling) took matters into her own hands and applied to become Fu Yanshen’s (Ethan Fairchild) personal bodyguard. Rumor had it that after being crippled, Fu Yanshen was barely alive in spirit, refusing all contact with the outside world and locking himself in a dark room to waste away.
