The story revolves around eighteen highly intense and mind-bending brutal cases, each corresponding to the punishments of the eighteen levels of hell. It follows police captain Ti An and psychologist Zhao Yao as they join forces to explore human nature behind bizarre cases and hunt down the "monsters" hidden within people's hearts.
