The drama tells the story of Han Dong, a noodle shop owner, and his wife Lin Meiyue, whose seemingly peaceful life conceals a turbulent past.
Lin Meiyue used to be a nightclub performer known as "Li Rongzhen"， and is blackmailed by her former "friend" Sister Ling. At the same time, Han Dong's twenty-year-old secret is uncovered by a mysterious figure seeking revenge. The escalating threats from Han Dong's old friend Sun Haitao trap the couple in an invisible web of darkness.
